See's Candies — Local services in Tucson

the chocolate has remained as tasty as it was since I was a child growing up on the west coast. As i’ve familiarized myself with this shop, i’ve discovered many new favorites. I also highly recommend their sugar free chocolate bars, tastes just like real sugar without the blood sugar spike :)

Also, to be clear: this location is a Retail Shop, NOT a Quantity Discount Shop. there has never been an ability to offer particular discounts. That is how the company operates. they have retail shops, QD shops, and sometimes pop up temp shops.

To expect a discount at any see’s simply because you’re a senior citizen or whatever it may be, and then become disappointed when the employees are not able to provide any, is unrealistic. It is never personal, ever. It is simply the result of the employees doing their job and sometimes us patrons are not happy when our expectations our violated. However it is not personal :)

Prices have certainly gone up, just like everything else in the world. which is also something that is completely out of this store’s control.

See’s fudge is certainly a unique type of fudge, luckily, that’s not what they specialize in :) you don’t typically go to see’s to buy fudge…. you don’t go to see’s to buy chocolate covered fruit, you don’t come to see’s looking for a specific brand of chocolate, you come for SEE’S chocolate! I promise you will not be disappointed.

Wetmore road, where this store is situated, does unfortunately have a sewer line that runs underneath the road and occasionally there will be an unpleasant sewer smell in the oracle/ wetmore plaza, this also, is completely out of the store’s control. That is a city issue.

it feels wrong to give a store a poor rating based off of things that are 100% out of their control. that’s why I am rating it 5 stars, because every time I crave sweets, see’s chocolate will ALWAYS satisfy my cravings.

I know it’s not easy running a business, but they’re doing...

The chocolates are always superb but the service at this location has become frightfully incompetent.

A few weeks ago I went in to get a variety of dark chocolate items including almond clusters. There was an obviously new person filling my order, and when I looked over my order before leaving everything was milk chocolate. So she changed everything to dark chocolate. When I got home I found she had given me pecan caramel clusters instead of almond ones.

Today my significant other went into the store for the first time since I had been there. She asked for a variety of dark chocolate items. Once again some of them came out as milk chocolate instead, something she did not realize until after getting home.

How hard can it be to get...

The customer service is not the same definitely I used to come here every single day and pick up chocolates for my daughters and myself it's been a really long time that they are not the same I learned about See's Candies from my mother-in-law I used to love coming here it brought me great memories but the aura and the people in the new store that I go to buy the Tucson mall is very plain they don't say hi they sing for us to give people samples but definitely not happy about it and I'm only writing this review because this has happened to me the last seven times I have gone there at this point I'm really considering...
