Went in to southcenter to ask about jewelry insurance and after being educated and reviewing the receipt, I pointed out the information on my receipt was wrong. I told the associate I wanted to repair the info and they said they couldnât without my boyfriend ( the purchasers) permission , ID and his presence even though I told them he is deployed. By the way they wouldnât have even known who was the original purchaser was if I wouldnât have told them. He bought them in cash and the associate that sold us the jewelry had written her husbands name and info as the purchaser. I then said I wanted to return the gift because I was frustrated as the sales associate gave several different excuses as to why she put her husbands name. Excuse #1 she was in training, #2 we shouldnât have come in on Christmas Eve itâs too busy #3 she couldnât hear his name because our kid was crying (theyre supposed to have you fill out a customer slip, no hearing required) #4 the person training her told her to write âJoe diamondâ as the name on all receipts when theyâre busy. Then when another employee walked up her excuses were #5 my boyfriend was rude and said he donât need to give his name ( highly unlikely) #6 she accidentally wrote her husbands name because their names are similar #7 she didnât know better and now she does. All I wanted was a check mailed to me in the end and I couldnât even get that per her loss prevention specialist at corporates instructions. I will not be shopping here.    Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars, I bought a ring last year for xmas that was "10k Rose Gold"... my ring is turning silver. When the ring came into the store I got a call saying it was there and I could pick it up, however when I went to pick up my ring the lady couldn't find it and told me I would have to come back another day since the other lady had put it somewhere and she didn't know where that was. I told her I would wait there until she found it since it was already paid for and I wasn't going to drive 2 hrs to come back. She finally found it but couldn't find our lifetime guarantee paperwork.... I still haven't gotten it A YEAR LATER, and not for lack of trying. I've called customer service at least once a week. I call the store as well to ask for the paperwork and they must have caller ID because they don't answer my calls anymore.... Which is seems to oddly not be against company policy since many other people have the same issue of them not picking up the phone. All in all this location SUCKS like really sucks I'll never go back there and I tell everyone I know not to shop...

The manager, Anna, was determined to do everything possible to solve my problem. She went above and beyond my hopes and expectations! She researched with her Regional office the best way for my order to be handled, while alerting them to my local store's problems so that they could provide assistance. Then she worked with my local store to make sure my order received proper attention. She called me repeatedly to let me know what was happening, and when. Needless to say, I was very grateful for all of her efforts. I highly recommend Helzberg in general for all of one's jewelry needs, and the Southcenter store in particular for exceptional service. I also believe that my local store would have served me just as well, had they not been experiencing their temporary staffing problems. My ring is absolutely gorgeous.
