Bicentennial Park — Attraction in Medina

A haven for the homeless. There are encampments on the riverbank a couple of hundred feet away.

Because I was early for an appointment, I was there for a couple hours killing time doing language lessons). While there, I saw somebody shooting up on the front steps of a vintage (but heavily graffitied) log cabin.

The porta-potties are disgusting and are full of probably stolen purses and shopping bags (ewww!). There is a small playground jungle gym, but no children were there.

I came here for fishing on 08/11/2023. I was unable to find a clearing from the sidewalk to reach the river. There were too many bushes in the way. I think if someone had waders they may be able to get access to the water around the bridge. I was unable to fish successfully.
