Hobby Lobby — Local services in Tukwila

This was my first time going to the store in Tukwila. I usually go to the store in Federal Way, but the parking lot is sometimes a issue because Costco is next door, and as a result there is always heavy traffic.

I have mobility issues with my hip, so I was delighted to find a parking spot at the front door that did not require a disabled persons permit. Do not get me wrong,there are many disabled parking spots, it is rare to find ones at the front door that do not require the disabled parking permit.

In the past two years I have taken up gardening and Hobby Lobby has a wide selection of container for plants, trellises, Bird feeders, bird baths,wind chimes, statues for your garden all at prices that are far below Home Depot, Lowe's, the Home Goods store, Amazon. This is quality merchandise as well.

I found a beautiful wind spinner for my yard that is so very colorful. I am waiting for the weather to warm up so that I can get all of my pretty flower planted in containers and the wind spinner placed in my yard. . I purchased all of my paints at hobby lobby for the crafts that I do with my terra cotta planters. I recommend Hobby Lobby...

The store itself is wonderful! I always love walking through this store and seeing all of the seasonal stuff they have out! I also love seeing all of the home decor! They have beautiful merchandise! The reason I am giving this a one star review though, is because the staff is absolutely awful! If you ask them for assistance with looking for something, they just point you to a direction. Literally point you, with their finger. They don't say anything about where to find items in question, they don't walk you to it or show you or give you any other information on where something is. They just point, while they all stand in the front of the store grouped together gossiping. And as soon as they're done pointing, they get right back to the gossip. The couple of staff that I have seen on the floor stocking stuff here and there, are the same way. I wish I could say this was a once in a lifetime experience, but I have been here several times and it has happened every single time I've been here. It is the worst customer service I've ever experienced in any store. Besides the employees, the store itself is cool, Just like any other Hobby...

You can find all kinds of items in this warehouse type store. Also, tons of fully completed items ready to be placed in your home or office. If I needed to redecorate the inside of my home or a room in it, this is the store I would start with. I was overwelmed with all the beautiful things for walls, shelves, corners, and nooks 'n' crannies. However, I am card maker and stuck to the decorative and cored card stock to spend my birthday gift card. And that took me a good half hour or so. Granted there was a 40% discount on their paper, so I definitely got more bang for my buck. Look for sales! There always seems to be one happening somewhere...
