We went in for a late lunch to the tune of 50.00 .. Great table service...BUT... I ordered crab wonton, and beef sukiyaki... The wonton was made with imitation 🦀 and philidelphia cream cheese whip the cost for the 4 won ton is 7.00. It is Dungeness crab season in the Pacific Northwest so that seemed fair, we would expect real 🦀, not fake cheap whitefish in a crab wonton."..to say the least the cheese filling whip had zero crab pieces nor crab flavor and I mean zero hint of " crab" that might have been inside the wonton. The beef sukyaki is more of a pad woonsen and came with scrambled eggs instead of fried egg came on a plate, not in soup form but more of a bean curd noodle stir fry . The taste was good on the Thai sukiyaki, but the noodles were soggy. Just saying for 50 bucks for two people at lunch on a Tuesday I would expect. Way lower prices for the quality of food. After all glass noodles cost literally 1.95 for a huge pink or blue net pkg of them and these were clear not made in house but bought at cash and carry. Maybe it is because I'm a cook that I am picky..but when the menu says CRAB WONTON I expect crab not Costco/ WinCo/smart food imitation crab meat mixed with phildephia cream cheese inside . it was not worst crab wonton ever but I would call it more of a Philly cheese whip wonton not crab and the plum sauce is amazing..I buy the same brand I know it by taste..i guess what I'm saying is none of the food is home made in the kitchen it feels pre made and bought and for that price point I am ashamed..especially knowing they have an amaing kitchen to prep food in and all should be authenically made and not pre made from a store then sliced and throen in a fryer... I hope this is constructual critisim when you have the facility to produce real authentic Thai food but choose to buy cheap ingredients..iy shows.. We did love the atmosphere and the staff is very fast and efficient... who knows maybe the cook was just having an off day and bought pre made fake crab wonton instead of actually making them or maybe the real chef was off so they had to make due..... We are going try here again in a few...
Read moreI think this place is racist towards white people. I’ve been coming here for many years and I always order the same thing: the duck curry. For some reason, it’s never spicy. I first started out with 2 stars and then I got the spice rack because I realized I should try 3. When I tried 3, I would still need to request the spice rack. I’ve been getting 3 stars with the spice rack for a while, so I figured I should finally just go for 4 stars spicy since I ALWAYS have to ask for the spice rack anyway.
Just in case, I still ordered the spice rack on the side because I hate having to wave down the waiter.
When my food came, it was less spicy than when I had it at 2 stars! I was shocked! And they didn’t even bring out the spice rack, so once again I had to wave them down. So annoying—just do your job.
Usually, the worst part about the duck curry would be that some pieces were unchewable or had bones or back cuts, but I let that slide because it was only a couple of pieces sometimes. Now I don’t want to come back because they never make my food spicy no matter what I ask.
Also, I usually never have time to write reviews but this time I’m writing a review because they brought out a bowl of soup to my partner, and he began to stir it because he thought it was his. I was even about to try it and reached toward it. As he’s stirring with the spoon that came with it, the waiter came right back, took it from his hands, and delivered it to a different table because she had brought it to the wrong table. She did NOT even ask if we had taken a bite or touched it!! Imagine if this happened to you during Covid—someone brought you your order from the wrong table after someone else already touched your spoon that you’re supposed to put in your mouth! My partner was even feeling under the weather like he was coming down with a cold, which is why he ordered soup, and they still took the bowl he touched to the other table?? EWWW!!
I’ll never want to be at the receiving end of that, so I’m not going to eat here again.
I feel...
Read moreMy family and I have been long- time customers to this business. It saddens me to say that we will no longer support or refer this business to anyone any longer.
Like a lot of other reviews on here, the customer service has severely declined. It is unacceptable as to what occurred today with a pick-up order. An employee named Alicia not only was rude to my family member, who picked up the order and was not the one who called the order in, but also lied to her supervisor as well as me, when I asked to speak with a supervisor when calling about the issue.
Snapping at a customer saying "You're order isn't ready yet. It hasn't been 20-25 minutes!" was uncalled for. I called back highly upset about it because I'm fed up with people's rudeness during this time when people are only trying to support small business's during COVID. Alicia tried to say she didn't snap or say any of the above and that she was helping a customer and just told my family member that it wasn't ready which is false. There's no need for my family member to lie about this.
ALSO, something that should NOT have happened was this employee calling her actual supervisor who was not in today, about the situation and lying about whatever covid instruction she told her manager about because my family member received a call from said supervisor defending her employee "she didn't mean it that way" and rudely asking if my family member was aware of covid policies. Yes, my fam member was wearing a mask while in this place of business among following the other policies.
I have no problem reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau as it needs to be investigated of whether or not they are in fact following covid policies due to a previous review about the workers not changing...
