Iām giving this particular location a one star review because of one employee, Muzhda. Iād like to start off by saying, if you have horrible customer service skills and do not like your job, donāt work in a job that requires that! I used to work at this location and I understand some customers can be tough but my family did not deserve AT ALL the treatment Muzhda gave them. My cousin came to buy cooking supplies for her dorm and they bought a sponge that was on clearance. It had one tag that had its original price and one of the red tags on the other side. They were rung up by Muzhda and my uncle always likes to check the receipts and noticed she charged them for the original price. If the tag was placed incorrectly by someone else, we would have understood and bought it for the original price. We didnāt have a problem at all with that but if it was on clearance we wanted the clearance price so we went back to ask about that. They got Muzhda again as a cashier for their return and told her that they saw the clearance tag on the item. She only said āmmmmā and a face insinuating that we placed the tag on the item to get a cheaper price. Ripping off a store for a $2 difference is hilarious. And as a cashier back when I worked there I know that the customers grab items that have been labeled as clearance incorrectly. It happens all the time! My mom became upset and told her she did not want the item anymore. Muzhda changed her tone with them and became visibly upset which was ridiculous for my mom saying that. She was extremely rude and did not talk to them at all. My mom was going to say thank you after the transaction but she right away turned around and did not acknowledge them at all. We asked my uncle if my mom was probably exaggerating for another point of view and he agreed with her on Muzhdaās horrible attitude. We really donāt like giving low reviews or bashing employees as me being an employee in customer service, I know how tough it can be. However, her attitude is inexcusable! If corporate or the managers would train their cashiers in having a great attitude with customers, I assure you the store...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just had a horrible experience. I was there between 6:30 and 7:00. I tried on a blue skirt that was too big. I put it back on the rack. I grabbed a pair of green shorts and went back to the dressing room. I saw a chocolate dress hanging there and decided to try it on. While I was trying stuff on I heard a Tukwila policewoman knocking on doors there in the dressing room. I heard a Burlington Staff member saying it was a blonde lady. The officer knocked on my door. She asked me to leave anything behind that wasn't mine. I showed her there was nothing in my purse. We walked to the front of store. I was astonished and shocked that I was being accused of stealing something. I talked to the lady working the dressing room. She referred to one of the ladies working up front. I talked to the the Loss and Prevention officer. The Loss and Prevention officer pointed to another workmate...who apparently was the one who initially thought I was taking something. Officer Livingston was saying, "That's all they have to do to get you to leave the store". I had to leave because an employee thought I was stealing clothing. Thinking someone is stealing and somebody actually stealing is two different things.
I was really upset. I had planned to stop by Nordstrom Rack but I cried on the way home instead. I understand Tukwila is an area where crime occurs more than others, however it doesn't make it acceptable to accuse an honest person of stealing. I never want to go back there again.
