Altar'd State Woodland Hills Mall — Local services in Tulsa

I’m from Florida but was visiting in Tulsa for an event. I wanted to do some shopping, came across this store that I had never been in before at any location. I was not greeted when I walked in, I smiled at one of the employees but she looked at me like I was stupid and turned away. I started looking at the jeans and was looking around for assistance with a size but no one would help me even though they were not busy at all. None of the employees spoke to me the entire 30 minutes that I was in the store. It was very disappointing. I had a bunch of clothes I wanted to try on in my arms but no one offered to put them in a fitting room for me or even ask me if I needed a fitting room. I put everything back, bought nothing and walked out and went over to Buckle where I knew I would receive excellent service to which I definitely did. This first impression I had with this store ruined it for me to potentially go into any other altar’d state store at any other locations. Please tell your employees to do better. I love visiting this place whenever I come to the mall! Their clothes have the cutest patterns and feminine touches! The store itself is very aesthetic and makes for a very chic experience. However, their prices are sky-high, so be prepared to pull out the big bucks unless you're shopping the lil' sale room in the back of the store. Also be aware that many of their dresses tend to be a wee bit short, so if you're someone who cares about that kinda thing be warned (though they do have longer dresses as well :) ).

PRO TIP: Sign up for their emails, and every year for your birthday, they will send you a 50% off coupon! This can be applied to clearance items as well, which is how I got a pretty pink floral maxi skirt for $13ish a few years back :3

I always stop here when I’m in town visiting. I haven’t been by for about a year and was surprised at how different the store is.

Staff was severely unhelpful, greeter at the door couldn’t be bothered to help me find the jeans I described, only waved me into the store with a “sorry I don’t know”.

The store also used to cater to multiple size women, that is no longer the case. They used to have different styles and types of clothes, now it all looks like SHEIN quality Selkie dress Knockoffs.

It was always on the slightly pricier side, near $100 for a pair of jeans but they had a good size selection and the products were good. Now tho, no size inclusion, terrible service and lower quality products.

Take my advice, find a different trendy store. This one is not...
