Linda in ladies formal wear dept of Dillards promenade tried to scam me. If you need to be unethical to make a sale try another job. I went to exchange an pant suit linda never asked for my receipt and initiated small talk by saying dont u love dillards? Insinutating that dillards does not ask for a receipt. Instead of linda doing the exchange and refunding the difference or sending me to customer service OR explaining all my options. Linda did the exchange then put the remaining refund 21.50 on a gift card. Small problem.. I DONT WANT IT ON A GIFT CARD... I PAID CASH I WANT CASH BACK...furthermore this was not my money I was shopping for the lady that I take care of.
After linda competed the transaction and tried to give me the card I asked if I can have the remaining amount in cash. Linda said no sorry not after it's already done....... Well Ms. Linda has never met Lisa CURRIE.. #WELCOME2THEGRIND............................
I GAVE A SLIGHT CHUCKLE THEN PROCEEDED TO TO TELL LINDA I wanted my money in cash. Linda didnt think I knew what she was doing. Did the refund then rang it up under her name so she receives credit for the sell.
Linda who has been in customer service 20 years.i know that because she told me. Got on the phone with her boss as if this was a major ordeal. Linda seemed nervous as she explained the situation, linda told her bus I failed to tell her I wanted cash back. I interrupted Linda's phone conversation. "Well you didnt ask" it's safe to assume if I paid cash I want cash back. Linda answered several questions finally I said I will go to customer service myself. Linda followed me apologizing several times and advising me how I could get my money then come back and get the dress. LINDA I WOULDNT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM YOU IF IT WERE 99 PERCENT OFF AND THERE WAS NO WAITING IN YOUR LANE. LEAVE ME ALONE. she kept hanging around talking and saying I'm so sorry.. ok fine I forgive you I just want to be done. The customer service lady asked to see my driver license. That's odd.. didnt ask for my license when I made the purchase but ok. I can understand asking for license if I wanted to return without a reciept. You want to keep track of that. But I'm paying cash. I can pay and return all day everyday.....
Lastly the lad at customer service tried to short me 20.00 she says 51. 45 is your refund.. Uh NO... I PAID 71.22 I WANT 71.22 RETURNED..
AFTER FUMBLING AROUND AND KEYING IN SEVERAL MORE CODES I WAS ABLE TO GET THE...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDisappointed with Dillard's. I went in for a bra fitting. I was told there was only one person on duty, perfectly acceptable. I wanted to ask if there was maybe someone else who could help - I like this place and it's convenient for me (woodland hills is too much). The lady who originally helped me instantly walked over and began rattling off to her coworker, "I already said I couldn't help her, I told her that she would have to wait for the other one to come relieve me," Once again. Perfectly understandable but it was rude and insensitive to tattle on me to her coworker when i was asking a question that wasnt a complaint. I also felt like she was lying to me as well, because when I asked if she could measure me outside the shirt she told me that, "due to covid" they had to do a full bra fitting. That didn't really make sense to me, as why would covid restrictions require you to be in a small, 5x5 foot space with someone up-close and personal with your shirt off? It wasn't a great experience. I never see more than one person in a department at a time anyway, so again it felt like she was lying so she wouldn't have to help me. In addition, it seemed like she was more interested in talking to her friends. And i know they were because she was hugging them when i walked up. I would've been happy to wait for her to finish her conversatio, I see friends at work all the time but for her to - what feels like- blatantly lying didn't sit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hope someone at Dillards actually reads this. Today I went into the 41st and Yale to bra shop. One purpose! Iāve always walked out of every store SO DEFEATED bc I canāt find the right fit/style/size for what seems like forever. Wearing wrong sizes just so I have one but never confident in them. Lemme tell you whatā¦.today there was a lady named Nicole (didnāt catch her last name) working in the bra/lingerie section. Iāve been fitted so many times at different places but no one has ever taken the time to help me find the perfect one and like I said, left defeated. Nicole took the time to help me with everything. She brought me probably no less than 20 bras to try on, and I tried on just about every single one. She remained so kind, gentle, polite, and helpful the whole time. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated this. I am so serious. She helped me leave confident and fitted rather than defeated and upset. My experience with her today was worth every penny I spent there. I will absolutely come back and ask for her! If youāre in the market for a good bra, go there and...
