I just want anyone to know that if you have any allergies to nickel or to any cheap metals then do not shop at Spencer for your jewelry. They claim that their metals are “high quality” and non nickel but it is not true!! I had a huge allergic reaction to a belly ring after them convincing me that they are a safe metal. I spent over $50 dollars. After talking to a sales rep. About my condition they told me I could take the product back for my money back and they can look up my debt card with no receipt. Well when I got to the store they refused to give me my money back instead offered me a gift card that I’ll never use because I HATE false advertisement. This shop has a lot of crazy and wacky stuff that I thoroughly enjoy. They occasionally have costumes which is fun, I absolutely adore Halloween stores so it satiates my hunger for such stores year round. I love the random clothes, shot glasses, knick knacks, lingerie, dirty gifts, and relaxation supplies they have and I never enter the store feeling like there isn't anything new to look at. My only problem with the store is that they allow children in the store. Considering that there is a huge wall of vibrators, I find it inappropriate as well as annoying that my supposed-to-be-child-free shopping session is interrupted by annoying children loudly asking about the birds and the bees. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The workers are incredibly rude. I went for Black Friday shopping to buy piercings and the worker told me it was buy 2 get 1 free. When I go to the register it turns out it was buy 2 get 2 free. I tell them I didn’t know this and 2 workers start being incredibly disrespectful. One worker literally slams her hands against the table and starts bombarding me with questions about the piercings. It literally felt like she was trying to initiate that I was shoplifting.
