Bergenline Marketplace — Local services in Union City

I've only been living in Union city for a couple months so I tried a couple different markets to do my routinely grocery shopping. This is the worst supermarket of the area. The environment is disgusting; the produce section smells terribly bad, there're boxes all over the place and get this, there was an unpacked large FISH in the freezer (yes that's right), it must have been there for a couple days for its looks. Totally out of place amongst other frozen food boxes. The worst aspect of this market? Price! What the hell is wrong with this owner? Union city is supposedly a humble community but this market simply has the highest prices of all delis/markets I've visited so far. Also, there's absolutely no price tags in 70% of the items becoming frustrating to decide what to get (perhaps misleading customers?). In the end, they overcharged me for a cereal box, which read $4,39 but costed me $7,19. I did not complain, so I came here to express my suggestion for you. Always...

Butcher with a bad attitude because when I took a last tray of steak the trays in front moved and he called me when I was leaving and reprimanded me because according to him that is why the meat was damaged, as a customer I deserve respect, I take the meat that I want, only the last package moved a little, but I think that is his job and that is what they pay him for, if you do not like dealing with the public you should change jobs, what a shame because the cashiers are very nice, but because of that butcher I will not go to this market again, there are many markets around where you can buy and I am an older person who does not need any spoiled brat who came to work angry to take it out on me, I wish the manager good luck with this rude and...
