One Life Juice Wellness Center — Restaurant in Union City

Both Jill and Glenn of One life juice and wellness are experts when it comes to health and fitness! They have a store front where you can buy fresh pressed juices and smoothies (all natural, no added sugars ) and fresh salads, ginger/tumeric shots and healthy snacks or powders to choose from. If that wasn’t enough, in the back they have a fitness studio dedicated to full body intense training workout classes, one-on-one workout sessions, can be done even on zoom if you prefer! Their friendly smiles and knowledge of their products and services makes you want to come back every time! I’m a regular there so I share in being a part of a community that gives back to the community! One life juice serves in the community by going to schools to help promote healthy lifestyle living to young people, have walks to promote awareness for foundations, even has pop-up shop events staged at the location where anyone can come in and promote their own businesses! This was the one of RUDEST experience I have experienced in a while!! I am currently waiting for my appointment next door at the titlepawn and really needed to use the restroom. To avoid being harassed at the liquor store or barber shop, I though this black owned business would be safest place for me to go, but I was Wrong! As soon as I entered, I had to ask for someone from the back to be noticed. The man was very attentive and apologetic so I asked if I could use their restroom. He proceeds to tell me that he “usually would not allow customers to use the restroom due to Covid restrictions but..” he was then interrupted by some rude woman from the behind the counter yelling at me “You have to buy something to use the restroom!!” She said this at least 5-7 times to which I told the man I don’t have any money and turned around as the woman continued to repeat “ you have to buy something if you want to use the restroom!!” I understand didn’t have my wallet on me but it was the way she came at it the way she did. My entire family loves to get smoothies here! I make smoothies at home all the time, but I really enjoy getting a break, and am super picky about ingredients and quality! this place is super helpful for a Mommy of 4 that's exclusively breastfeeding, with a husband that doesn't even like smoothies but will definitely grab a Juicy J or fresh squeezed juice anytime we come here. It is such a relief to find a place near home, in an area that lacks healthy plant based whole food restaurant options, especially on days when I don't feel like making my own Sea Moss, but know how necessary it is, I don't have to miss out because I can add it to my smoothies here! The quality ingredients offered here are such a blessing for my breastmilk as well! makes me super excited for our babygirl when she gets the smoothie in her system through my milk, and has such easy bowel movements, and very relaxing sleep afterwards.
