ace hardware — Local services in Upper Arlington

It truly saddens me that I have to write a review like this for a small business like Ace Hardware. But the cashier staff at this location is rude and very dismissive. Primarily a very short older woman that cashiers up front. Extremely dismissive & very unfriendly. My family have been customers of Ace for a couple decades to be honest. But this location, as well as a couple other locations, have poor customer service skills and it’s very disappointing. Never try to return anything to this Ace or several other Columbus locations. Even with a receipt, they are extremely rude about accepting returns. Sadly enough, I will not return. And it seems like they do not care at all whatsoever. C’est la vie. In a country where you can get products from Amazon and so many other sources. I would think Ace would provide better customer service & competitive prices. But apparently...

This is exactly the kind of neighborhood hardware store you hope still exists—friendly, helpful, and packed with everything you need. The staff at Nutter Hardware go above and beyond every time I visit. Whether I’m picking up a few screws, paint supplies, or asking for advice on a home project, they’re always knowledgeable and genuinely happy to help.
