I'm really grateful for the customer service I received. I got engaged on Friday & my ring was too small. We were by Kay Jewlers & thought to go in to get an estimate. We were told it would take 2 weeks. I couldn't wait that long. So, we went to Majestic. The owner congratulated us, looked at it, & told me he could have it done in a few days. I said ok. I received a call within 3 business days. I was told that during different times of the year my ring would fit differently due to temperature & I was also told I could bring it by for cleaning even though, he did not buy it there. As a newly engaged person, I'm already wanting the world to know how happy I am. I felt great going to Majestic & being treated like the newly engaged person that I am. I wasn't just another number walking through the door. I was made to feel like my joy was welcomed. My better half was also helped with questions about his watch. Even though Majestic couldn't fix what he wanted, he was given a number to call. It's always great when an establishment is willing to say, "I can't but, here's someone who can." Read moreI was disappointed with my experience today. I have taken a watch there before to have links taken out and I remember the guy being friendly and that I was charged a fair amount. I went there today with my engagement ring and another watch. He was sort of rude when he told me straight up he didn't want to be responsible for the ring and that the diamonds would come out if he made it smaller. I understand if he didn't want to mess with it but he wasn't very nice about it. They didn't say anything nice to me; it was all either rude or strictly business. And then they charged me $20 to take links out of my watch. That is a ridiculous amount considering it took him about 1 minute to do and my sister-in-law took hers to another local jeweler and got the links taken out of the exact same watch for $5. Neither of the items were bought from them but my family has purchased other jewelry from them and I'm afraid they will be losing...
Read moreI just went to Majestic Jewelers this afternoon to purchase a new piece of jewelry and had to wait 5 minutes while the employee was helping the person in front of me. Then when it was my turn and she found out what I was looking for, she asked if she could take the customer behind me picking something up, which I was kind and let her go before me...but, the customer needed something fixed or adjusted, so instead of the employee asking her to wait and taking care of me, she said nothing to me and proceeded to repair or adjust the customer's issue. This has got to be one of the worst employees who does not have any customer service skills at all. Majestic Jewelers just lost a customer and I will tell everyone that I know just how they treat their customers. 0 out of 5.
