Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Florida

I love Chipotle. I love beans. And i dont know if its a misunderstanding or what....I tell the girl " more beans pkease".....so she adds 3 or 4 more beans......i just stare at her, and smile, and politely tell her " more beans please"....she again adds 2 or 3 more beans unto my bowl.....At this point i think to myself " should i get upset? Is she trying to intentionally offfend me by Not wanting to add MORE BEANS? or is it maybe a MISUNDERSTANDING. i dont Know what is happening...I am perplexed...Not Understanding WHAT is going on.......i am thinking this.....so again I smile, and politely tell her again "More Beans please" and I cant help myself but for a second think in my head " This girl is retarded or Maybe i'm missing something how strange".........I love Chipotle. Recommend it to EVERYONE.......but Ive noticed this same pattern happens at a few CHIPOTLES.......I dont know if maybe they have a LIMIT on how much beans can be served....or Maybe The girls working there DONT EAT as many beans as me. ...and so when i say " more beans please" , in their Mind, it means 4 or 5 beans more" ....when in my mind it means 3 or 4 more SCOOPS of those big SPOONS they use.....Im a very polite person, and I could never embarrass a worker, so Ill probably contact a Worker one of these days and ask him in private if they have a Limit on beans or if maybe I eat too many beans or Whats going on. But as to this Post. Yeah. CHIPOTLES ARE GREAT! Always! And this bean situation is my own...nothing to do with Chipotle..And by the way guys, have you all seen the Documentary on the dude that started Chipotle? Its great! Really Inspiring to start a business! Its on youtube. Seems like a really Smart positive dude! Keep it up Chipotle!!!!...

If I could give less than one star I would because that is how the service is run a chipotle in Vero Beach. I placed an order online to be picked up which was not at the pick up station when I finally was able to ask an associate they told me the order was already picked up by DoorDash guy did not place an order with DoorDash I placed an in-store pick up and showed them the confirmation on my phone they then proceeded to say oh well this happens all the time the only thing we can do is a remake it for you after I had to wait another 20 minutes for my order. When I asked to talk to the manager he said there was nothing he could do he couldn’t give me a corporate number or anybody else to contact and said this happens all the time. I tried to explain to him it is not my fault that he gave my order with my confirmation number to another person. he could not seem to understand that. They need to be thoroughly confirming orders before they give them away and hand your order that you already paid for to somebody else. that is the whole point of an online pick up with a confirmation email. I do not understand how this could be happening all the time unless people are stealing other peoples items but he said he personally handed and checked with that person to before giving the order, which is not my fault that he gave my order away. Two people cannot have the same order number, order and credit card payment and we did not place an order...

A well known American chain not so well known to Europeans. Food was reasonable and filling but the way it works was pretty chaotic (and this was a very busy place).

I don’t know why it’s called median grill—there were no grills running!

You pick the kind of dish you want (bowl, taco, burrito) and then like subways, you slide down the display and pick your fillings or toppings (starting with rice).

Board menu was pretty rubbish, it doesn’t tell you anything. Also doesn’t state that tacos are 3 pieces. The toppings are not labelled or itemised on the board or at the display.

I’m sure this works for regulars who know this like the back of their hands but I think design should work for old and new customers. This just seemed crap design.

Service was also poor; yes it’s fast good but still servers are usually friendly. Servers here were grumpy or rude.

Finally, there are 2 vegetarian options: vegetables (well, onions and bell peppers only— very tasty, not filling) and sofritas (fake mince— filling but not tasty). The toppings etc are expansive but no idea what they were I just picked what I could identify.

Kids option was excellent: a tray of make your own tacos (2 tacos and 3 fillings) but pricey.
