I am normally a passive patient person but I can say and know with complete confidence that Plover Wisconsin's Furniture and Appliancemart is the absolute WORST business I have ever dealt with in my entire life! âŚI have a smaller doorway in my house so I brought with me measurements to ensure that the couches that I purchased would be able to fit through the doorway. The first order I informed the salesman of the measurements. He stated that the couch and loveseat would indeed be able to come through the door. Upon arrival months later the furniture would not fit. I was upset but dealt with it. They took the furniture back and informed me I would have to come pick out electronic ones that could be taken apart. I returned to the store and picked out some electronic ones. I asked the salesman Chris numerous times if he was positive that they would be able to get them in. He assured me many times that the delivery guys would be able to disassemble and reassemble them once they were brought in.
Upon rearranging my work schedule for a second time, they brought the furniture again and when they arrived the delivery guys stated to me that they don't put things together. I showed them the paperwork that stated delivery and assemble but they still stated they can't do that. They took the furniture back. The salesman Chris then called me later and stated that he had spoke with his Supervisor and the delivery guys should have absolutely assembled the pieces and wanted to send a different crew another day. At this point I was done with rearranging my schedule for them. They stated they would call me to accommodate me for my trouble at noon the next day. I waited and waited and they never called. I called and told them to forget it I would find a different company. Now I've received a almost $170 delivery fee for a delivery that never happened due to their own ineptitude. I am just truly shocked at the whole ordeal and how unprofessionally it was handled. I will not be paying any delivery fee and will fight it in court if I have to. Never never ever again will I or any of my family deal with this business again. Before writing this review I wanted to speak to someone about the situation and left a message for Alex or anyone that could call me about this.    Read moreWe ordered a French door kitchen aide on June 17th. Only to find out that it was back ordered till July 22nd. Then we received another message that it was back ordered until mid August. Then received a message that delivery would be August 8th. On the same day received a message that the refrigerator was on back ordered until September 25th. We called the delivery people to find out what the correct story was where we getting a refrigerator or was it on back order. No delivery was scheduled for August 8th. No delivery because our frigerator was going to another customer and Madison. All I kept hearing from these salespeople was that it all has do deal with COVID, I am so tired of the excuses. Then shut the place down cause no one seems to know what is up or down. Then the Stevens Point representative called and got our refrigerator back to be delivered on August 12th. Only to find out that there was no delivery on August 12th. Delivery was going to be on Saturday August 15th. No 72 hour notice to find out the time of delivery for Saturday. So we called to find out when the fridge was going to be delivered. Received a phone call at 7:00 p.m. on the 13th only to find out that the delivery had been canceled for the 15th. Discussed that this was unacceptable and the lady explain that there was nothing she could do. She tried to reschedule for the following Friday which is the 21st. We canceled the delivery and are going to pick it up at the distribution center in Stevens Point. We have discussed with several people at the store that this has been nothing but a hassle and everyone says they are so sorry but simply nothing they can do. That their managers are not in here that day and so will have to come back to discuss our issues in the future. Wondering what the refrigerator will look like at the distribution center. I will never buy another piece of furniture or Appliance at from furniture and appliance mart. Everyone says shop local... I say go somewhere Else where you can get better customer service and satisfaction. I will tell everyone to please go somewhere else whether that's near or far to make your purchases.    Read moreIt all started in November with our furniture not arriving on our scheduled delivery date, with no warning. We had just sold our old furniture, so had a week with no furniture in the living room until they sorted it out. Then, the sectional we received had a broken frame and a huge gash in the back fabric. I called immediately, spoke with someone who said they would call me back, but never received a call back. I contacted back multiple times (through Ashley Furniture and ApplianceMart), but it was over a week before I got ahold of someone. A service tech was scheduled to come out and he confirmed that it appeared a forklift had gone through our sectional. A couple weeks later, our sectional was replaced, but this one has an issue with the left corner sinking several inches - it is uncomfortable and an eye sore. After reaching out to them many, many times again, I didnât hear back until I mentioned I was considering filing a complaint with the BBB - which it appears, many people have. They sent out a tech again - he tightened things up on the inside and had me sit on the couch, which was a bit better. He then told me that I shouldnât sit in the very corner of the couch anyway, I should sit in the middle of the cushion so that it wears evenly. In the weeks that have passed now, that corner has sunk again even though we hardly sit there. However, I do not want to go through the misery of having to contact this company again. Every time, I have contacted multiple times by multiple avenues, with no response the first several times. We also requested multiple times to not have them call my husbandâs phone, unless necessary - I had him listed as a secondary contact on the order form. However, they never took the time to fix even that mistake. He received every phone call, ignoring our requests of which number to call. I work in customer service, so try to be extra patient - but this has been the worst customer service experience of my life. After receiving two broken sectionals, we have received no compensation for all of our time wasted, or the busted couch weâre stuck with that Iâm going to have to figure out how to fix myself.
