DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Vineland

Possibly the worst shopping experience I've ever had. I got there around 8:30pm to get 2 kayaks, paddles, life jackets, accessories, carrier, etc. They were having a huge sale on kayaks and the high end ones were sold out online and difficult to find in stores. Luckily, the app showed they had 2 left of the type I wanted. When I finally found someone to help me and I showed him what I wanted on the app because they didn't have any on the floor due to not having space for all of them so they keep the surplus in a trailer he told me. But then he told me be can't get them because it's too late and they couldn't have it done by the time they close at 9pm. I told him I didn't need any help with them just ring me up and I'll take it all out myself. Still he said not enough time. So I said OK can you just go check the trailer to let me know you definitely have 2 of these kayaks in stock this way I don't come for nothing. He went & came back rather quickly and said they indeed have 2 of them. I then asked him if he can please hold them for me and I'll be back the next day around 8:15pm to pick everything up. He said sure. I asked him to write something down in case someone else tries to sell them so he then wrote my name on this big paper ticket and then he asked me to show him the model of kayak which I thought was strange since he just came back from looking at them. But anyway I threw him $10 just to be courteous. I come back the next day to pick everything up and no one in there has any clue on what I am talking about. They can't find any ticket and there are zero of the kayaks I want in stock and the sale ends that night at midnight. I explained to them what happened and the girl told me there's no way he went in trailer that fast and did this and that etc and that he just probably did all that because he didn't feel like doing anything since it was close to closing. I explained that now there's no possible way for me to get these kayaks. She just shrugged and walked away. I approached the manager because he witnessed everything and he claims that he had no idea what he and I were speaking about. I was sooo mad that I gave the kid money for playing me like a fool. Manager just stood there staring at me saying nothing. So that's it I walked away so angry it ruined my whole night. Not to mention I won't be doing any kayaking this year. I wonder how much money that store loses due to...

Do NOT go here if you are a person of color. They will profile you. I was profiled Twice on two different occasions. I don’t know which employee is the one calling shots on people they think are stealing but thats embarrassing to have people of color on your staff and still treat customers of color like everyone is a thief. This dicks location needs to revise management and staff because who thinks this is ok?? I was stopped at the door and was asked if I needed help to be checked out when I didnt have nor even picked up any product from this store while browsing. The boldness to even approach someone that you clearly did not even see pick up a product is crazy. When I responded that I didnt get anything nor do I even have a dicks bag the employee responded with “ oh okay , have a good day” very smug as if I was exiting with product. Never in my life have I been profiled in such a way. I will be returning everything I purchased from my first visit and wont be returning . I cant find a corporate number to report this to, as if they would even do anything to begin with but hopefully this reaches the right crowd. DO...

Dicks has the best clothing inside the Cumberland Mall. There are so many nice items that are at Dicks Sporting Goods. I enjoyed shopping there because all the rest of the stores really didn't have many clothing items I liked. Dicks Sporting Goods also has a nice selection of footwear, hats,bicycles, golf clubs, tents, sunglasses, reading cards, kids apparel and since we are in the Philadelphia area Dicks has so much Eagles and Phillies clothing. . The store was very clean and all the employees were smiling and helping all the customers. If you're a Philadelphia Eagles fan or Philadelphia Phillies fan then you should stop into Dicks Sporting Goods because they had so many Philadelphia Eagles products with the Superbowl logo on them.The store was busy and so many customers were shopping.
