Big Sandy has been robbing the customers on the extended warranty forever! What they do is you have a refrigerator that has problems that you bought a full price with a full extended warranty that cost over $500 to protect your equipment we bought a refrigerator they have been out four times to try to repair this refrigerator and they could not fix it. I called and asked them for a replacement refrigerator no problem. They rushed one out to us in the same week that I called them. I inquire with the delivery guys about my warranty because I have to have an extended warranty on everything Nowadays deploy is to sell you a brand new product without the extended warranty and that in turn overtime will make you come back and buy another refrigerator. They know this so they hope you do not buy the extended warranty but when you do buy the extended warranty, they try to say that that warranty is whatâs used to pay for your replacement now how do you pay for a replacement? Is there fault the refrigerator went bad in the first place when you buy a refrigerator youâre thinking youâre getting a brand new product actually youâre getting a half ass built product that they know is gonna break down and days offer you the extended warranty at an exorbitant price and if you donât buy it, they win if you do buy it, then they have to come out and repair it whenever it breaks down which it will breakdown nothing made by the Chinese or anybody else last forever and they donât build them to last if you go back to the old days when Frigidaire was a leading refrigerator to buy, they last 20 years right out the gate. They donât make refrigerators like that no more they want to put all these computerized this and the other ball sheet ice and all this other crap thatâs useless and breaks down the refrigerator you go to call them and you donât have a warranty. You gonna have to buy another refrigerator And thatâs what they hope for. I wanna let everybody in the world know big Sandy and anybody else who offers extended warranties that is their ploy is the hope that you donât buy the extended warranty and when you do buy the extended warranty, they use that to replace your appliance or whatever youâve bought and they turn around And deny you a new warranty with your replacement model which leaves you butt naked. Now weâre stuck with a new refrigerator and no warranty. Thatâs how they win. I hope everybody understands me. I hope everybody stops going to big Sandy to buy anything cause theyâve been getting over folks for a long, long time And now Iâve uncovered it and I wanna share it with the world watch big Sandy when you go to buy anything from them, your extended warranty is only going to certified replacement, but it will not be applied to your replacement equipment.    Read moreI purchased an LG appliance package from Big Sandy, and unfortunately, the experience with both the refrigerator and range has been frustrating. The fridge has had ongoing problems from the startânot making ice, dispensing hot water instead of cold, sweating inside, and freezing over so badly we couldnât open the drawer. I also had a serious issue with the range that could have caused a fire.
When I reported the range problem to Big Sandy corporate, they did not treat it as urgent. They scheduled me weeks out and then never even made it to my home to fix it. Out of safety concerns, I contacted LG customer service directly. LG immediately marked it as urgent and had someone at my house within 1â2 weeks who fixed the range. That quick action from LG made me realize how unresponsive Big Sandy corporate truly was.
For nearly a year, Big Sandy corporate dragged their feet on my refrigerator issues, as well as sending out techs who stayed for only minutes, constantly blaming âparts,â and pushing me to the back of the line even when parts arrived. Nothing was ever resolved through them.
I turned to the Reynoldsburg store, and thatâs where I found real help. Derek Stephenson listened, was professional from the start, and escalated my case. Syndi, the store manager, took time to email corporate while I was on the phone with her and explained how to escalate my complaint. And most importantly, Sunni, the assistant manager, went above and beyondâshe personally submitted an exchange request. She got it approved within three hours, something corporate couldnât accomplish in nearly a year. Sunni is an exceptional individual who deserves a leadership role of a higher caliber. She, Derek, and Syndi are the only reasons I still have any faith in Big Sandy at all.
I 100% do not recommend Big Sandy corporateâtheir service was unacceptable, especially when dealing with a potential fire hazard. If you must shop at Big Sandy, go directly to the Reynoldsburg store and ask for Derek, Sunni, or Syndi. They are the only ones who will take care of you.

My husband and I are now on our 3rd furniture set from this company. The first one we bought, We specifically told them that we needed something that was durable, And we were reassured that the set that we picked would be durable however broke down within the first week, we contacted them about it and we're told to go pick out another set. When we went in to look for another set, we were helped by Shelly whom was very rude and kept commenting on my husband's size and said we need to go to a big and tall store so we left. We were then contacted by one of the owners who apologized and told us to go pick out another set. We picked out a set we were told was steel and reassured that it would be more durable, however within a couple weeks completely broke down. We were told if we returned the set for another, we would be charged a restocking fee but after several complaints, they waved the fee. We then picked out this current set we were told was flex steel, however, once again, it's breaking down. The pictures were submitted over a month ago and we were told it would be fixed in 6 weeks. I called the other day to check on the status of it and now I am being told it won't be fixed until April and they were not even aware that the couch was breaking down they were only repairing the center console when all of this information and pictures had been submitted already. I have since submitted the pictures yet again and filed another complaint with the better business bureau because this company sells very cheaply made furniture and what we've experienced trying to get a nice, durable set of furniture is absolutely ridiculous. We have also bought appliances tables entertainment center from this company, We haven't had any issues with those items It's just the furniture. We will never buy another piece of furniture from this company and I would never recommend them.
