Marshalls — Local services in Violet Township

One of my FAVORITE Marshall's locations of all time. It's nearly impossible to walk out of here empty handed!

When it comes to the clothes, I ALWAYS have success in finding something, in the least. The selections hold true to their motto: "Your Surprise Is Waiting and Never Boring, Always Surprising." Whether it's shopping for a decent weather coat, finding clothes for the kids, searching for low priced t shirts, or simply feeling around for some new workout clothes, this Marshall's always has a great selection.

I will say, the shoes department is the only place I have trouble at times finding success. The shoe department seems to lack either options or decent prices. This is likely due to the shoe brands they have in stock- Nike for example cannot be discounted too much.

The options are vast and abundant. Not only will you find great deals on any type of clothing, be it casual or dressy, but there are also miscellaneous other options to be found. I always try to make a trip over to the cosmetic section to find all kinds of different beauty products like face masks or shampoos.

The clearance section ROCKS. I cannot make a trip to this location without checking out the clearance. Every trip I have made, I have managed to find something great from the clearance section.

The lines, especially on weekends, can become extensively long. The staff does a great job of keeping things moving along well with a smile. The dressing room staff is always helpful in getting you in and out. I have experienced a few staff members at the dressing rooms who are always eager to chat while counting your items and returning unwanted items.

The only thing that would make this location a five star is if it were better stocked. Typically, toward the closing hours, especially on weekends, the store can become messy with the clothes thrown around, disorganized, or tossed...

Overall the store is usually in good condition. Sometimes during the holidays it can become chaotic and dirty, which is to be expected. Most of the employees are kind, however I find it very annoying when their stocking employee continuously reaches in front of my face to place something on the shelf whithout a simple "excuse me". I understand the need to be proficient with your time, because I too worked retail for a long time - but that is just rude. Especially when she pushed my cart out of her way and just kept walking. I left without buying anything as this is aggitating when you are trying to look around. It makes the customer feel as though they are unwanted. Please do some customer servicing traing with your employees, being polite can go a long way, even...

I love Marshall's, but today, I had a crazy experience. I had one of the $100 bills that would be absolutely impossible to duplicate. There is no need to run through fraud checker machines. Blue strip, hologram all kinds of security features. You know what I'm talking bout.. lol well they ran it through multiple machines that couldn't recognize it. Another cashier said it happened to her earlier. The manager told my cashier I couldn't use it and I should take it to a bank. No need. I got it from a bank. I don't think they are aware it's their equipment that may need...
