My son and I dined at the Reynoldsburg last night and was so disappointed. I'm guessing they are short-staffed, but even so the dining room was not busy. We were sat at a booth where the floor had not been cleaned. Actually after looking around after being sat, there was lots of trash on the floor. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer; I just ordered a water and my son ordered a water and strawberry lemonade. We did get our appetizer after placing our dinner order and the pretzel knots were very good. It took another 20 - 25 mins to get our dinner; a salad and a wrap. Nothing too hard, and my son's buffalo chicken on his salad was cold and tough. We asked for water refills and we still had not received the strawberry lemonade. Plus our waiter had not come by to check on us this whole time and didn't see him in the dining room either. It was another staff member that brought our food to us and we asked about the drinks. It was another 10 mins after we got our food before he finally showed up to ask how it was. I told him we needed water refills and that we never got the strawberry lemonade. He left then came back and said he'd have to make it because he couldn't did the bartender. At this point, my son was done with his salad and I was nearing being done myself. He still wanted it, so the waiter went and made it and brought it right over. Then disappeared for another 15 mins or so. I kept checking my watch since everything was taking so long. I told him we wanted the check. We had been there for over an hour at this point, with not many other people showing up during this time. Our bill was just under $40, and I would have thought they could have at least comped the lemonade since we didn't get it until after we asked about it twice and at the end of the meal. I paid by cc and when he brought the receipts for me to complete and sign, the total was over $90!!!!!! So my cc was hit with this pending transaction, and took another 5 mins or so to get the waiters attention...never did see a manager. They did bring out the correct one, and credited my card the incorrect amount....but it's all too fishy for me. As we were leaving we passed a table that had a full size trash can sitting by it with trash still on the table. And noticed several times other employees just standing around doing nothing. This place used to be kept up, but now it's just pitiful. I won't be going back to this one...
Read moreI travel often between Indianapolis and Columbus and met my mom here as a midway meeting point after we both drove 3 hours. We purposely chose this restaurant for its outdoor patio since we had a puppy with us. Prior to even walking on the patio, I went inside to acquire permission to sit on the patio with the puppy. For those that aren’t aware, they have a patio which is partially covered, but still open on the sides. We originally tried to sit under the covered section since it had been raining off and on. We were quickly told we needed to sit on the part of the patio that didn’t have an overhang, so we did. I should note at this time there were only 2 customers at the bar so plenty of tables to choose from. We ate and I asked our server (Brooke) if the overhang portion isn’t considered part of the patio and if that is still considered dog friendly. She said that their policy doesn’t allow dogs on the patio at all unless they are service dogs, but the manager and her will allow dogs to sit on the outside portion sometimes. She said it’s their policy and indicated that since it’s a restaurant, dogs aren’t allowed. I said that’s interesting since in many cities dogs are allowed outside. I left confused as to what the right answer is and wanted to know since my mom and I will be meeting there again in a week. I called and asked for the manager (Shawna) to get some clarification. She said dogs are allowed on the patio including the portion that is covered by the overhang. She asked me if he was a service dog and I said no, he’s a puppy which she said, “ yes, that’s fine.” So I shared the experience we had earlier in the day and she immediately said “only service dogs are allowed.” I was puzzled and said that’s the opposite of what was just said. She said, I thought you were talking about the patio. I said, I am. She said, “ yeah just service dogs”.
Completely inconsistent - zero clarity and a poor reflection on BDUBS.
UPDATE: I reached out after the owner’s reply and asked to be contacted. No Surprise, I never...
Read moreI've been to many buffalo wild wings throughout my life and this was by far the worst one I have ever been to and that includes the ones in the hood. It wasnt a staff issue. The staff was pleasant but it was understaffed so bad that every manager was in the kitchen. It was a 45 minute wait for any food item regardless of what it was. It was on Saturday around 6pm and they place wasnt even packed. I sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks before heading off to a concert. Bar tender was good and as were the drinks but the lack of staffing was nothing like I had ever seen in any restaurant before. I actually felt bad for the staff that was on site. I know they were doing the best they could and kudos to them for trying so hard but even when I used the restrooms the men's toilet had an out of order sign on it. Of the two urinals one had a trash bag over it and an out of order sign. Only one functional urinal for the entire mens restroom was insane in my opinion. I have seriously never seen a chain restaurant in such dismay let alone a buffalo wild wings. Whoever owns this establishment should really come by and see it from a customer perspective. Again the staff that was there were very pleasant and busting there butts but just simply could not keep up with the demand between carry out and dine in. The reason I was so shocked and decided to write this was when I entered the men's restroom and saw that the only toilet available for men to use was not working. 24hr plumbers are widely available today and should have been called. What happens when you eat and something doesnt agree with your stomach. At this point your going to have to leave to relieve yourself. I don't see me visiting this location again any time soon. I should have just went to the olive garden like we originally planned but the parking lot was packed and buffalo wild wings wasn't so that's why were stopped in. Big mistake on our part. Love the food here but this location...
