They ruined our night and made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. The food order was wrong from the start. They brought us one salmon, one broccoli, one potato, one roasted corn, two strawberry lemonade, and two mistake, and they said they would bring the rest of the food as soon as possible. They did not apologize or offer any compensation. We waited for another 20 minutes, and still no food. We asked them again, and they said they were busy and that we had to be patient. They did not seem to care about our situation or our hunger. They were rude and dismissive. We waited for another 20 minutes, and finally the rest of the food came. But it was not what we ordered. They never brought us roasted corn. They also never gave us refills on drinks. We told them about the error and roasted corn. They did not apologize or offer any refund or exchange. They were arrogant and unprofessional. We were shocked and outraged by their attitude and behavior. We asked to speak to the manager, who came over and sided with the staff. She said that we were being unreasonable and demanding. She said that we should be grateful that they served us at all. She said that we were not welcome in her restaurant and that we should leave immediately. She also called us names and made fun of our appearance and accent. She was abusive and offensive. We were humiliated and hurt by her words and actions. We felt like we were discriminated against and harassed. We left the restaurant paying the bill with a 10% employee discount. We were angry. We vowed to never return to this place and to warn others about it. This was the worst dining experience we ever had. The food was wrong, the service was rude, and the management was abusive. We do not recommend this place to anyone. Smokey Bones is a nightmare. Avoid this place like the plague. The salmons were overcooked and dry, the potatoes were cold and hard, the roasted corns were burnt and bitter, and the broccolis were soggy and bland. The strawberry lemonades were too sweet and artificial, and the adult beverages were watered down and tasteless. The food was not worth the price, and we felt sick after eating it.
The service was even worse. The server was unfriendly and impatient, and he messed up our order several times. He brought us the wrong sauces. He did not apologize or offer to fix his mistakes. He also ignored our requests for refills, napkins, and condiments.
I went to Smokey Bones with my partner for dinner and we ordered two salmons, two potatoes, two roasted corns, two broccolis, two strawberry lemonades, and two adult beverages. We were looking forward to a nice meal, but we were sorely disappointed. The food was terrible, the service was rude, and the restaurant was dirty.

The restaurant was also filthy. The tables were sticky and dirty, the floors were greasy and littered, and the bathrooms were smelly and disgusting. There were flies and gnats buzzing around, and we saw a cockroach crawling on the wall. The restaurant was noisy and crowded, and we could not enjoy our conversation or our meal.

Read moreThis last visit causes me to rewrite my entire review. The girl who greeted us at the door and seated as have the worst attitude I've ever seen out of anyone greeting and seating people at a restaurant. She looked at my boyfriend and myself and judged us upon the way we looked and she was aggravated because we came into the restaurant an hour and 10 minutes before they closed. We both work and the food industry so we understand how frustrating it is to get people right before we close but whenever they still had over an hour before closing and we were going to be fairly quick already knowing what we wanted. When I asked the girl if they have the steak because they were out of it last time we were there she looked at me and said seriously I'll have to ask to cook if he'll even cook that & food is cut off in 15 minutes Just so you know. And she walks away it was on my boyfriend and said I don't even want to sit and hear and eat anymore can we just get our food to go and he said yeah I don't want to eat here either. This girl was so mad over us coming in to eat she said a different girl out to wait on us. First thing I do is let her know we have decided not to eat inside the restaurant would like to take it to go and we already knew what we wanted. She was so nice to us and was ready to help us with anything we needed. She kept a smile the whole time and couldn't have been any nicer to us. I looked at my boyfriend and said I feel like giving her a really good tip considering how rude the first girl was and how nice she is being to us he said yes I definitely agree with you. Our food was only $33 and some change so I tipped the girl $25. She definitely earned it. My thing is the girl who seated us had absolutely no idea who we were. We could have been restaurant reviewers or someone walking in prepared to give a $500 tip. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants for date nights and now we don't even want to return again. This visit was on Tuesday April 1st we thought it is going to be a treat and ended up leaving highly disappointed even our burgers were way overcooked and dry as could be. Very disappointed...
Read moreTo preface I went an hour or more before dinner rush starts - milage may vary. The overall experience wasn't bad, I appreciated the prompt effective and friendly service, the staff seem to work well. The food is alright its good to eat but it's nothing more than generic or mid. I had the texas brisket platter with loaded mash potatoes and coslaw and a desert; the chocolate cake with icecream.
The brisket was alright, it did have a fat cap that was well rendered, the meat it self was a little dry for brisket edges in the worst shape, one oeice was better than the other. Seemsit was left to long smoker/or thr fat cap was too closely trimmed. If the restaurant is willing to adjust I'd suggest to be about 25 to 50% more generous on the fat cap this is a milage may vary as the closer to the tip the less fat there is if you get a tip your gonna not have the best part (could be my case) , most brisket comes with a very large fat cap so this should be doable. It would fix the dryness of the meat as well as make it just a better experience.
The mashpotatos seem to have been pre- portioned, and reheated in microwave, can tell by its heat profile, the loaded toppings where fresh it seems. Not a bad experience just to hot to eat at first and mash save quality well from reheating.
Cole slaw was good, not much I'd know to make better. Maybe could be sweater or tangier?
The chocolate cake was dry and older than expected, looked as tho it sat out all night after it was sliced the cut was definitely oldish(maybe not all night but it takes a few hours to get this way) and was then dressed up and sent out. You can tell by the slight stale texture on the outside if the cake. Icecream was good, thick and creamy something I can't normally find outside a restaurant which I appreciated. I couldn't finish the slice on its own without the icecream to cut the staleness.
Not was an alright experience, might return one day, though I wish for the price to the amount of food it was a bit better quality.
Service was great staff are excellent I think.
Atmosphere is good and...
