Panera Bread — Restaurant in Violet Township

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I'd do MINUS 5 if I could. Do not waste your time or money at this Panera location. I rarely go inside but use the "convenience" of their drive thru which is SUPER SAD as well! I wish I could get back the minutes of my life from eating inside. Absolutely unforgivable horrendous customer service. Horrible environment. No smiles or anything. Spoke to the manager, Lacy, and the obscene demeanor of all of the employees evidently stems down from there. Lacy cut me off and did not listen to the customer. A broccoli cheddar soup is supposed to come with a side. They forgot the side. Any side. Plate was bare! Then when I informed them the baguette side and cream cheese was missing, they said I had to go to the other side where NO ONE was. Waited there for a minute, then returned to ask if one of the four people on that side could help me. My food was still sitting waiting for me and I never did eat... May be racist because they assumed we didn't pay for cream cheese. They had to check?! A lousy $1.59. I'm a sip club member frequenting many Panera and this is truly the worst!! They have NEVER given me such a difficult time. But the grandma did ask for the cream cheese and I wanted to get it for her, so I paid for it despite Lacy's employee not charging it in the first place. Oh, ordering was difficult too! Not shocked there was a mistake and even Alyssa who took my money tossed the cream cheese at my Mom who had now gotten herself involved in this RIDICULOUS situation. Seriously?! We had probably left this Panera if we had looked around the dining area but we had already ordered our meal so we stayed. Sorry to say but this restaurant is awarded the Dirty Plate Award. We ate there on the 13TH of October of 2018 and we now know why we do not eat out that often. The staff did not say hi or ask to help you as we stood looking at the menu. The coffee and tea self service area plus the soft drink self serve area were both disgustingly filthy. The floors looked as if they didn't own a sweeper, and the unoccupied tables throughout the dining area were littered with food debris. Our food was hot and I must say the bacon mac and cheese was good. However the steak and cheese panini was a disappointment. Over toasted and the cheese had escaped due to over cooking. Steak?Only found one piece inside of both 1/2 sandwiches we had ordered, so that in one bite it was void of anymore steak. Go here often when I'm home with my parents typically is very good. However today 2 ladies were cooking breakfast sandwiches, and mine when I got home was horriable. I ordered the brochi bun with over easy egg and for starters I swear they gave me old bread. It was so hard I could bang it on the table. Trying to bite off a piece hurt the gums and roof of my mouth, is not what you would expect from someone who prides themselves in their bread. Next the egg was supposed to be over easy but they burn my sandwhich so bad that there was literally black parts on the bun resulting in my egg being way over hard and not runny at all. To top off my disaster sabdehixh when I got home I had to reassemble it because half of the stuff was falling out. Couldn't even finish it because the burn and bread were so bad :/ I was so confused as so why this happened but the supervisor on duty was sanding right there watching them make my horriable sandwhich and instead of watching was cutting out puzzle pieces out...
