Dakota Sky Stone — Local services in Wall

I don't even know how to start this review as I'm still very overcome by my feelings. My husband and I were greeted by a lady with a smile on her face, like she was just waiting for the next customer. We were browsing shirts as I loved the styles they carried. I let the lady (whom I'm sure was the owner) know that I was there as a child with my parents. I lost my dad and this road trip through South Dakota was to honor him and the memories I had as a child. I stuck a chord with this women and we connected over the loss of our Father's. What she did next, is between her and myself, which I had to call my mom and share with her the kindness and warmth of this woman has me truly verklempt. When we got back to the hotel, I busted into tears. Tears of sadness for her loss and mine but also tears of gratitude. I know for a fact, her father was and still is so proud of what he helped to create. When we lose someone, the love that they had for us and vise versa never goes away. It stays within us to give to others. Thank you for your kindness...

We stopped here at the end of our week long vacation, after visiting the store located in Deadwood (and spending about $1000 there). The Deadwood store was well stocked and had a wide variety of merchandise and jewelry, and the sales lady was friendly, attentive, professional and helpful. However when we stopped at the Wall store, (July 13 2023 3:15pm) the young girl behind the counter was sitting, eating, loudly flirting, laughing, and carrying on personal conversations with some young guys - they were all so loud I could not hear my friend talking right next to me!! We were there 15 min and would have purchased, but NOT ONCE did the girl or one of the guys behind the counter stop their conversation and acknowledge our presence, say anything to us, or offer assistance. WOW !! What can I say ... absolutely the best customer service I've ever had hands down!! CJ ran to the warehouse (while we continued to look around) just to grab a T-shirt in our size!! Like who does that during the busy tourist season really?!! Susie kept us busy while he was gone. Sooooo friendly and hospitable !! Definitely will be back!! Highly recommend a visit to this shop ..lots of goodies !! Thank you both again 🙏❤️... Tshirt...
