The short: Not a finger lifted for or after my purchase, no effort and awful lack of communication. This is completely unacceptable with any purchase, especially when you’re spending over $4k on outdoor furniture.
The long: I called for help with a quick purchase for an outdoor furniture set for my parents, the saleswoman was fine but not overextending herself. I asked for options that were in stock and a comfortable seat height for my ageing parents and she provided some options. She sent the quote quickly. I did further research that eve for due diligence and called the following day to make my purchase for a larger sofa.
This was the easiest transaction possible, she didn’t have to do much at all and she didn’t offer any suggestions for outdoor covers or other in stock pieces (I shared that I was transforming my parents backyard while I was in town).
I don’t think she took me seriously or didn’t see enough dollar signs to keep her attention. Even when I emailed to ask for ottoman options, she sent bench options, baffling.
Midweek (Wed) I realised I never bought a cover which is essential for outdoor furniture (+ I bought the white perennial performance fabric). I emailed the saleswoman about the cover and asked for in stock ottomans that might match the iron. Nothing for days.
I went to RH outlet (Sat) and found an ottoman that was a great contrast. The sales team was super helpful and insightful. On Sunday, I finally heard back from the saleswoman and no ottoman options not even a real apology. I asked for the quote $367+, received quickly and replied immediately to go ahead and order it. Never heard back, I called today (Tues) to ask about my order and she confirmed she never placed it, and that I’d have to wait until August. No offer to expedite my order, or courtesy discount on my cover or sofa, nothing. I sent a note once I received the invoice (very swift transaction) to share my frustration with this process.
Literally, the customer service at Home Depot is better than this. I don’t accept the lack of customer service, communication, and consideration from this saleswoman.
This is a complete disappointment, and absolutely not on brand with...
Read moreI came to Restoration Hardware in Walnut Creek to see a light fixture I was considering ordering in person. I feel so lucky that Walnut Creek was the store I picked to visit because I met Nasrin, one of their designers. She was a godsend in the process of my home's remodel! At first I was skeptical about ordering through the store rather than just handling it online but I have to say I have had the greatest experience working with Nasrin and wouldn't do it any other way again. She was incredibly helpful in making beautiful, current design choices for my home and she was always professional and kind. RH Walnut Creek is lucky to have her as she is spot on with her customer service. I won't hesitate to work with her again in the future, in fact I look forward to it! As far as the products at RH Walnut Creek, I am so thankful that they have a store available to see things in person. It is important to be able to confirm the quality and sit in a chair or run your hand along the finish of a table. They carry amazing pieces and while they are pricey, once they are in your home, the quality really...
Read moreOur sales person was pleasant but new. We made a large purchase, but might have bought more had there been more samples in their showroom. We were hoping to see a concrete dining room table, but no samples of the product were there. Sales person will improve with experience. She was a bit awkward. She asked if I wanted to save my credit card info on her...
