Anthropologie — Local services in Walnut Creek

Very poor customer service! I purchased my wedding gown at BHLDN which is on the second floor of the Anthropologie store in Walnut Creek. The salesperson insured us that we can return it any time...meaning any time. And as you can see from the return label it's stated the same. It was also confirmed by BHLDN whom I called after three attempts to return my unworn gown in the store even though it is clearly states on the label that it can be returned in the store. But who bothered reading it? At my first attempt the salespeople at the BHLDN department of the store sent me to the Anthropologie cashier side where I was promised that the store manager will call me with the updates next day. Never happened! On 11/1/17 at 10am was my third time coming to the store and I was helped by some very inexperienced "manager" who advised me to call BHLDN directly and figure out on my own. Well, I did it! And thank God I'm getting my money back for the returned items as promised but wish Anthropologie store in Walnut Creek staff and managers would take more time training on understanding their own policies better and maybe take an extra step to prove yourself to be a real manager who can take care of the business...

I have visited this store many times. The women who work there are pretty clueless when it comes to customer service. One girl who was new-ish gave me incorrect information twice (instead of asking another employee) and just blew off my questions eventually just quietly walking away not knowing the answers. One time I was shopping and while I was asking an employee a question the general manager walked up while her eyes were glued to another area. She interrupted us and began telling the employee to watch the the area she was staring at. I backed up because it was intense- she was referring to theft or something- anyway it was odd. I was invisible to her. I’ve spent over $1000 in two visits, (which isnt a lot) but I always leave feeling like the employees feel as if they are doing me a favor. Rauya, the store manager, at the Anthropologie Bridal in Walnut Creek is a fairy Godmother that everyone needs!!! My husband and I wanted to have a 10 year vow renewal ceremony that our 7 and 9 year old can be a part of. We only had a few weeks to plan and the last detail and one of the most important that was missing was my wedding dress!! With 10 days, Rauya was able to pull 2 dresses after I shared my vision and it was THE dress! Susie helped me shipped the dress to my home within 3 days and the alteration referral at Eclipse Alterations in Piedmont Oakland was able to tailor the dress within 3 days and I still have 4 days left to go!
