This is a review of my experience with Alli. The phenotylically Latina woman that is managing this location. I am a frequent shopper of the brand and have been for at least half a decade. In the event that an item does not work out due to irregularity or ill fit, it is convenient to make a return at this location. I have patronized this store enough to warrant a return when necessary. Each and every time my foot touches the threshold of that door, she creates a hostile and negative atmosphere and I am tired of it. I am not sure if her bun was pulled a little too tight in particular today and that is what has disgruntled or what, but for you to lie to me and tell me I could not return a defective item and make it seem as if my return was nefarious when I had already sorted the issue out with customer service is beyond disrespectful and deceitful. It's fine if you don't want to distort your conversion or numbers for the day. I completely understand and when I make a return, I typically make an instore purchase so that your numbers aren't impacted. I came to the counter, presented you the email exchange between concierge and I. You, Alli, immediately proceeded to deny my return and falsified a number to justify that without the consent of corporate. It wasnât until I called customer service that you wanted to see the email exchange. Let me tell you this, if a person purchases an average of 15-20 items a year it is not inconceivable that 1 or two of those items is in fact defective/low quality Alli. Subpar customer service and if I could give her alone a 0/10 I would. You are nasty and condescending and people can pick up on that. Everyone is allowed bad days, especially when you are working with the public. But I have too often caught this woman on a bad day. Unacceptable, I canât imagine what the associates experience working under someone who makes such ill informed decisions. If you are reading this Alli, you and you alone are the sole reason I will not return to...
Read moreIâve been to this Aritzia multiple times and never had a problem with it other than it being a little busy and difficult to walk through, thatâs just to be expected in a popular store in Georgetown. I never leave reviews, however one of the staff members was incredibly rude to me. I was looking through the clothes and noticed a very obvious stain on the middle of a bodysuit, and I figured if I worked at a store I wouldnât want clothes on display that were literally stained. So I looked over and saw a worker standing off to the side, and I opened my mouth and looked at her and before I could get a word out she put her finger up and said very sharply âOne second.â That didnât really bother me, but when she came back I just said very politely âhey! I just noticed there was a stain on this shirt and I figured you want to knowâ and Iâm not even kidding you she looked at me like I was the dumbest person in the world, just completely disgusted and annoyed at me for just trying to be helpful. She just looked at me and said in a condescending tone âOkay..?â And her response just threw me off so much especially on top of the way she just looked at me like I had the word stupid written on my forehead. Not knowing how to respond, I said âokayâ and then she literally just walked away. I work in the restaurant industry/customer service and I understand she may have been exhausted or having a bad day but itâs really not hard to just say âOkay thanks for letting me know!â Even if they were still planning on keeping it on display. Iâm not even exaggerating that encounter with her felt dehumanizing đ like Iâm so sorry. Anyways if youâre shopping in the Georgetown Aritzia and you see a stain on one of the pieces of clothing donât say anything because they DO NOT care and will make you feel stupid for pointing it out. Thx...
Read morePlaced an order online but went to the Georgetown store to return because the quality of the items I received were different than when I had previously tried them on in store. The employees at the Georgetown location were so rude. It took a while for them to even acknowledge I was standing there. Julia in particular was rude, condescending, and snarky from the moment I stepped up to the counter to do my return. She said that she would not refund my original form of payment, and would only be willing to give me store credit for my return (to be clear, this return was fully within the bounds of their return period, the garments were unworn, and the refund would amount to $500 of Aritzia store credit). When I asked if that was my only option, she said, in a very condescending tone, that if I donât want the store credit, I could always resell the coats myself on Poshmark or something. She also stated âthe storeâs return policy was very generous for a âluxuryâ store.â I donât know any luxury stores with such rude employees, poor customer service, and low quality clothing⌠in fact, I donât consider Aritzia to be a âluxuryâ brand at all. After this experience, I canât recommend Aritzia, and will absolutely never shop at the Georgetown location ever again. Iâll also encourage everyone I know to never shop there again either. Itâs now clear after reading other peopleâs reviews that this isnât an isolated incident, but the norm for this location. Save yourself the stress of having entitled, condescending college students disrespect you for no reason....
