CHANEL — Local services in Washington

I made an appointment and was warmly welcomed by the ready to wear manager, I later learned, and promptly introduced to sales associate, Mimi. I had come to purchase a blue denim bag with leather trim I had seen and was so excited and determined, that I went to scout it out right away. I did not feel uncomfortable in the shop at all, even with the presence of heightened security. Mimi can be a bit on top of you at times, but I would request her assistance again in a heartbeat. I had a great experience at this shop and truly felt like a Queen for a day! She read me well; I left with a bag, a ready to wear piece and a great pair of fun to wear chic clogs. I felt appreciated as a customer and did not feel pushed into any sales at all, at least knowingly haha ;) I’m writing this review after returning home from Europe. I stopped in the Chanel boutique in Paris, where I drooled over merchandise, but didn’t have an opportunity to shop as the sales associates were busy with other customers, understandably and I also visited several Chanel boutiques while in Venice Italy. The Washington DC shop is larger than the one in Paris and the Italian boutiques are more specialized. Regardless, my experience in the Washington DC Chanel location was really perfection and I thought I had reason to leave a review given my recent experiences at other locations...

I had an excellent experience at Chanel DC city center a few weeks ago. My husband booked an appointment but I was debating about going there or not because of all the negative reviews online about this store. Finally, I decided to go there with my husband. It turned out that their service exceeded my expectation. Timothy was very nice, helpful, and patient. He showed me different items and wrapped the trendy CC, wallet, scarf, and a cosmetic set very nicely. He also gave my daughter some perfume and cream samples. My husband came back there to exchange a wallet for me because I wanted a different wallet. Tim got the item ready for my husband to pick up. His manager, Josh assisted my husband that day since Tim was off. I am happy with my purchase and enjoy using those new items. Tim also recommended a few good restaurants nearby so our family could have a nice lunch. That was very nice of him to take his time to talk to us. Thank you Tim and Josh for your excellent services. We had fun shopping there and definitely will be back. I hope other shoppers will have the same experience as we did and find this review helpful. Best...

I had a great experience at this Chanel location. I have a Chanel at my home base of Minneapolis, but I've been waiting on a classic, caviar with gold hardware in medium for forever and decided to shoot my shot when visiting DC. We waited to get inside the store for about 15 minutes (not a bad wait at all). As soon as I went in, I was greeted by two SAs who asked me if I was looking for something specific. I mentioned that I had been looking for a classic for a long time and was wondering if they happened to get one in stock - and right away she smiled and said there was literally ONE that came in that day. I felt so lucky!

We also looked at wallets as my boyfriend was looking for a new wallet for his mom and our SA was so kind to bring out several different options. We were also offered water while I took a look around the rest of the boutique while our SA packed up our goods. She was attentive and very conversational the entire time, which I appreciated.

Would definitely come back to this location again when I visit DC! Make sure to ask...
