When was the last time a visa officer smiles at you? I had an amazing experience with the Consulate of Poland. Although they require physical presence, the process was extremely smooth. I've done Schengen visa many times and this one is by far the easiest. The guard and the visa officer were super friendly and helpful. They accommodated my request to process my interview earlier than scheduled so that I can make it to the airport on time. They did all the photo copies. I received my visa 2 days after the interview. Helpful, prompt and organized experience. Please don't confuse this location with Embassy which is a different building in a different part of DC. Poland has three different buildings in DC, Embassy, this Consulate and an Economic Development Consulate. This one (on Wyoming Ave.) is for personal needs (passports, etc.) which is what we needed.
