From the moment we stepped into this charming establishment, we knew we were in for an extraordinary dining experience. The evening began on a high note with their fried calamari and passion fruit swordfish ceviche. The calamari was a crispy, flavorful delight, setting a high bar for what was to come. However, it was the ceviche that truly stole the show. Its freshness and unique flavor profile made it one of the most memorable ceviches I've ever had the pleasure of tasting.
For our main courses, I had the whole Mojarra special, served with a tantalizing salsa verde and perfectly fried yucca. The fish was cooked to perfection, boasting moist, tender flesh encased in the crispiest, most flavorful skin. Meanwhile, my partner ordered the lobster risotto, a dish that epitomized creamy comfort. The lobster itself was fresh, succulent, and cooked flawlessly, harmonizing beautifully with the risotto's rich texture.
The ambiance of the restaurant only added to our enchanting evening. We were captivated by the exquisite hand-drawn artwork and murals adorning the walls, which contributed to a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The service was nothing short of exceptional; we were treated with such warmth and attentiveness, it felt as though we were enjoying a gourmet meal at a close friend's home.
This restaurant is a rare find, a place where every dish tells a story of passion, skill, and the freshest ingredients. I am eagerly looking forward to returning and exploring more of their culinary masterpieces. If you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience, look no further. This is a place that deserves not just a...
Read moreThis is a generally very favorable review with a caveat. I ate here saturday night with my oldest kid. The food was very good, gravlax and clam chowder fresh and homemade clearly, linguine with clams had fresh clams and my daughter's monkfish was gobbled up. Service was good, it got loud when a birthday party of ten sat down but no one's fault.
Issue I had was desert. Advertised as homemade tiramisu. It was. It was also without warning loaded with alcohol Marsala, brandy and kailua, essentially a cocktail. Problem is I can't drink brandy. I had two bites could taste nothing but alcohol and spent the next three hours basically in severe pain. I sent an e mail asking and got back a note saying yes with what was in it and an exclamation point. I wrote back I wish I had known I would not have ordered it and could have avoided getting sick, with just a simple asterisk that said "contains alcohol" what if I was an alcoholic who cant' have any? I got no response back. I don't want anything, I will go back, but people should know what is unusually in a dish that generally is alcohol free.
so yes go, I will again, but be warned about desert if you have any issue with alcohol or certain types. It put a damper on an...
Read moreMy wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Pesce Seafood House, and it was truly a magnificent experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile by the owner, who immediately made us feel welcome. Despite arriving early for dinner, we were seated right away, a testament to their excellent service.
The food at Pesce is nothing short of extraordinary, rivaling that of a five-star Michelin restaurant. We started with the Scampi Oysters, which were an absolute delight. The calamari was flash-fried to perfection, maintaining a delicate crunch and exquisite flavor. The Popcorn Shrimp were generously sized and perfectly cooked. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the mussels, and I must say, the branzino I ordered was the best I’ve ever had – and I’ve tasted branzino all over the world.
While we were tempted by the dessert menu, we decided to be good and skip it this time. However, everything looked incredibly tasty, and we will definitely save room for it on our next visit.
I’m almost reluctant to share just how fantastic Pesce Seafood House is because it feels like a hidden gem. However, such excellence deserves to be experienced by all. Everyone should make it a point to dine at Pesce – you...
