CVS — Local services in Washington

The worst customer service ever, IF you’re able to even be served. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve called this pharmacy. I understand they get busy, but I’ve tried at odd hours, day and night, several times, NO ONE ANSWERS. The 10% of the time they have answered, they’ve been extremely rude and short on the phone despite trying to be as patient and pleasant as I can given the frustration I feel.. I really go out of my way to be kind to service workers. But it’s ridiculous. I’ve been in person and watched as the phone rang off the hook, with 15 people in line and they have 1 person working on check out. Meanwhile 2 or 3 other staff members are just on their cellphones, ignoring the phone ringing, not opening another line. Drives me insane...

I had a pleasant experience at CVS today! I was shopping for a simple Juneberry Red Bull - my current favorite Red Bull flavor - and it was actually in stock! It's a popular flavor and I'm usually disappointed to find that it's not at any of the stores I go to. On top of CVS having the Red Bull in stock, it was also easy to locate.

I am additionally happy to report that I was assisted by a CVS team member at the self-checkout. I was a little bit stressed out trying to find my cash - I kept grabbing the wrong bills and dropping them on the ground - but the CVS team member was patient and politely pointed out where the dollar-insert was located when I was having trouble finding it.

Joe, the manager of this particular pharmacy went out of his way to order my grandma’s much needed medication, which I went many different pharmacies to fill….. was initially given the run around, dismissive employees, or none NONE had the medicine in stock, in which they said would take over a WEEK to be delivered. Joe actually took the time to LISTEN to my plight and frustration, as I drive from over an hour away to help her pick up, as she is now slowing down so much she is basically bedridden Joe, had iit delivered and ready for her THE NEXT DAY.
