Barbie Pond on Avenue Q — Attraction in Washington

The reason why I am giving 1 star is because the unfriendly customer service at the ticketing booth. The person I encountered with at the ticketing booth kept telling me he is trying to help me but he wasn't listening to me at all. I had an email mentioning to pick two tickets on the ticket booth but he kept telling me I had to bring the print out. very unprofessional. I went to a nearby hotel and brought the print out leaving my friend there. By the time I was back another ticketing officer showed up with our ticket. We were 5 min late for the show already then the usher took us in the hall and let us sit at the last row until the current session ends and a couple joined us at the last row. The usher sit the couple who came after us to their seat. I just do not understand how that works and she asked me to wait until the other session ends. Then I stood up and I said i wanted to be seated where my seat are reserved at the first place. Then she took us and let us seated in the middle of show. This shouldn't happen. We were there on time but because of the bad customer service we had to go through all this and made it so hard to enjoy the show.

This was a great little stop & so nice to see someone using their imagination to create something for passers by to see! It’s shows innovation and a great thing to do with very limited outside space in a big city. The theme when we visited was Star Wars as it was May 4th!! A delightful DC oddity that is definitely worth finding. From what I can tell the thing changes based on season or event and when I went the display had a delightfully biting satirical edge. Whoever owns this clearly puts a lot of care and creativity into the display. I’m totally considering coming back around sometime to see what the theme will be next time. 100%...
