Extremely disorganized liquor store with shelf placements almost at random within each category. Prices seem reasonable IF that's what they actually charge you.
But I was overcharged, and I think the elderly Asian woman cashier (wife of the owner) tried to cheat me, 3x in the same transaction.
First, she rang up the most expensive bottle I bought twice and didn't ring up another bottle. When I pointed this out, she tried to justify it by counting up the eight bottles to show there were the same number of items on the receipt. But one item cost more than twice any of the others and she just happened to ring up that item twice... Then she blamed it on the other bottle not scanning, but that makes no sense.
Second, when she tried to calculate what she owed me for a refund, she subtracted the post-tax price (10% higher) of the bottle she had missed from the pre-tax price of the expensive bottle. I pointed out the error and she made a big show of twice calculating what she owed me, taking a long time as though she was hoping I'd get impatient and leave. Then she said she couldn't figure out how to do a credit card refund and I'd have to wait for her husband. But she didn't do anything to contact him.
Third, she undercounted my cash refund. After we had waited for several minutes, I asked when her husband would be returning. She didn't really respond but eventually said she would give me a cash refund. But her count was $5 short, even though she made a show of counting the bills out loud. I pointed this out & she immediately corrected it.
I know people make mistakes, but when someone (the wife of the store owner) makes 3 mistakes in the same transaction that all favor the store, it's too much for me to think it was just a coincidence.
Be very wary...

Then, she started arguing, with me about how they have more important things to do, like paperwork; got an attitude with me, told me not to 'bother her till I was ready to check out', and that she wasn't going to keep answering a bunch of questions, because I was wasting her time...!! UNBELIEABLE. So, I nicely asked if her husband or someone else could check me out, because I didn't want to argue with her. I even apologised to her, as if I'd done something terrible.. 'Cause that's how she made me feel :( Ridiculous. Oh! And then she told me I'm the worse customer she's ever dealt with... Really? Then, her husband just walked away snickering... I was nothing But polite. Until she said that, so I said 'And You, ma'am, are the rudest person I've had to encounter.' And of course I had to add, 'well at least people are generally...
