I should have written this review sooner, but life got in the way. I can't speak highly enough about this organization. First - the DCA Laptop Bag that I ordered as a Christmas gift for a family member is incredible. The quality, the craftmanship, the detail, the overall design - is 5 star. They are thrilled with this bag.

Second, and just as important - was the level of customer service that I received. When they were ready to ship the bag they noticed a flaw in the leather. They contacted me and asked if I would like a different model bag (as that was the last one in stock of that model) or wanted to wait for another one to be made. I chose to wait, on the condition that it could still arrive by Christmas, as the recipient was leaving Christmas day. As the holiday approached I was getting a bit nervous. I emailed the company 3 days before Christmas (and I was starting to get angry). They replied and told me the bag was set to be delivered on time (but I couldn't grasp that through my nervous anger). I sent a less than nice email about my concern, and wrote off the gift arriving in time before they left. Within minutes of sending the email one of the owners called me and offered to retrieve the bag from the delivery service and personally deliver it to my family member. I was floored. That is the highest definition of customer service that I have ever heard of. I didn't ask him to retrieve the bag as he was sure it would arrive in time. BUT - he offered folks. He even offered to me when I wasn't being very nice. The bag did arrive on time. The bag is GREAT. The customer service was GREAT. Folks - this company is GREAT. I'll buy again - if they can put up with me...

I have been into Quavaro Leather Goods near Eastern Market a handful of times since this past winter. So far, I have purchased their 'DCA' multi-functional briefcase (in the most beautiful burgundy leather), an 'Amelia' tote/backpack, and a small handbag.

I am an Auditor, and usually work at a client's location (which can be in DC, the DMV area, or anywhere in the US!). I am able to fit the following in my 'DCA' briefcase: 15" Lenovo laptop, an Asus monitor, cords & adapter, planner, portable mouse & pad, glasses case, and small headphones case. I can use the briefcase with a shoulder strap or with the attached backpack straps. I use it both ways depending on what my commute looks like, and I have no complaints! Oh, did I also mention how often I get complimented on this bag?! All the time!

I also use the 'Amelia' daily with my 'DCA' bag. I have used it as a backpack a few times, but I mostly use it as a shoulder strap tote. I am able to fit my lunch bag, water bottle, wallet, keys, cellphone, small makeup bag, and my dress shoes while still using the shoulder strap to sit comfortably on my shoulder!

I have been nothing but happy with all the products I have purchased. The quality is great, the designs are beautiful and professional, and the personalities of the owners, Cesar & Pial Vega makes the trip into the store...

My daughter and I were introduced to Quavaro and Cesar at the Union Market in Washington, DC last July. We purchased the “Pelican” and “Sea” bags; which we treasure!

Cesar was accessible, approachable and knowledgeable about Quavaro products and design - it made a lasting impression.

I received expert and attentive customer service working with Pial. She graciously assisted my purchase of my first “Washingtonian”!

It pleases me to know that Quavaro now has a permanent shop in Capital Hill!
