Torrid — Local services in Waterford

If I could give negative stars I would. I walked in and was looking around. The employee asked if I was looking for something with a tone like I wasnt supposed to be there or I was doing something wrong. Mind you, I've only been to this store once in my life when it first opened, I had no bag or purse with me, I had not even picked anything off the rack yet. I asked her where something was and she answered and continued to stare at my and my 8 year old daughter like we were trespassing on her lawn. As someone who does Loss Prevention at the corporate level for a living, this treatment was infuriating. I went next door and spent $200 on clothes that I would have spent at Torrid had I not been treated like a criminal. And then she had the nerve to give me a sarcastic "have a good day" as I stormed out of there. If I didn't have my kid with me I would have demanded she called the police to have them search me, a lawsuit...

Had a simple return this afternoon. Nothing crazy. The girl who helped was super unapproachable. did not even say hi. nothing. Flat out. Rude- gave me a hard time about returning something “because it was a final sale” well, I wasn’t going to use it. Never even worn. Tags still on I believe that’s when the manager came over and helped the process. Was able to return that item but, man what a process. If you are gonna be this miserable. Stay home. I’ll gladly drive to the Milford one before...

Talk about a total hype party! The women here are amazing! I tried on a dress and I loved it, so did they! Felt so warm and welcoming!
