To THE B.A.M. Store/Chain/Employees & ALL CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE POSTED PRIOR to my posting. ~Hello. Thank you for taking the time to read a real review based on knowledge, fact, and unbiased opinion. It is appreciated. 1. I live Here. *I live here in the Connecticut District this B.A.M. is located. 2. This B.A.M. is a great store in comparison to Barnes and Noble that once was HERE. 3. No book will ever be OVER Priced because the US Government C.F.R's state that the I.S.B.N. numbers dictate price for both USA and Canada Clearly on Each. 4. If you don't like high priced imported products that a mass media production puts out imported in form and from all over the world and from our own USA- (I do and don't like these Pokemon, D.C. and other Phenomenon Craze products myself...) -Don't buy them here or anywhere until they are at a price you can afford comfortably. For example: Black Friday Sales. Everything everywhere and on-line will be On Sale.

The above being said; This store is a very clean and comfortable, good book store. And, the only one in town. It has high standards for its overall presentation. It enjoyable to shop here even if customer's misplace the proper order of books bc this is a store, not a library.

P.S. To Future Customers;. *I do not have a membership card to BAM. I believe all retail store's are taking membership cards however. And, it's getting out of hand. I cut them all off my keyring. 2. I love this place and quite frankly forgot about it since jiving away from the area. But I needed a book store that was open during COVID19 stuff. There were literally no other bookstores open in the state when I looked up which ones were open thos is the only one that was open. Why? Got me. So I made then 60 mile hike. I forgot what an aw3sone store this is. Its obviously got book. A ton of them. Comics and traffic novels too. When I walked in I was hit in the face remembering just how much amazing stuff this place has. I'm a huge Star Wars nut and they have a ton if stuff to satisfy my need to everything I see. There stuff is quality stuff too. All brand new stuff. Some a little pricey. There prices are in the higher end if things but are stil very competitive. They variety is great as well. The staff are friendly and more than willing to help. A little too much for me but I must say Kudos to the lady that followed me around the store, pretending to put books away the whole time. I think she thought I was stealing. I mean I get it bcuz I had my own tote bag. And when I shop I'll just shove stuff in the bad instead if using a cart or anything. And I was totally doing that here. So all she saw was me going around stuffing the bag with stuff and wandering around the entire store. So if I was her i would have been suspicious too. Good for her for taking pride 8n her job. In the end I made m?'si i was never harrassed. Just watched. I don't get offended bout stuff like that so it was all good. So visit this place soon. I will NEVER shop there again. beware of a scam and a desperate company pushing products on consumers. I purchased a book from this store and upon checkout.... after pushing store card and credit card.... on me I was scammed into signing up for a year subscription to three magazines. the cashier made the story sound like I will be given three free magazines and sent to my address free of charge. as I said yes and picked out what magazines I would like for free I find out she used the credit card information that I had given to pay for my book to subscribe me for a YEAR.... to 3 different magazine companies. I immediately turned around to cancel my new "subscription" but they played it off like no big deal and the cashier that I had check me out was no longer there... instead I received a new face and some one who downsized the whole situation. even this new cashier attested to the fact that she should have explained things better to me but there is nothing they can do. sending me out the door like as if i was bothering them... worst experience ever.. worst part of the whole thing is I can not cancel my subscription for up to two months... they are hoping that I will forget about it and be charged behind my back... Stay away from this store... She USED MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WITH OUT MY...
