Great unit, terrible employees. I forgot to place on lock on my door - my things were still safe and unharmed but an employee placed a lock and revoked my access to the building because they "assumed" I had vacated a filled storage unit. No one contacted to me ask, or to let me know. I finally reached out and had to wait 24 hours to regain access.
Fast forward to me actually vacating the unit - I called 3/8 to let her know this was my FINAL payment and we will be vacating this month. Her response - "No worries you have until April 4th to fully be out." We vacated the unit on 3/18, completely empty and cleaned with no lock. I was then charged again on 4/4 $100 for an empty unit.
I immediately responded to her email stating I had left the unit and had called to cancel etc. - no response. I called 4/12 to get a refund, and was told I needed to provide a 10 day notice, I expressed to her I did, and she also confirmed the date of my call from 3/8 - clearly over a 10 day notice. She said there wasn't anything they can do because they don't give refunds. I requested corporates number - she doesn't have one.
Due to being at work, I couldn't push the topic and got off the phone. I had spoke with my mom and gave her the details since I believe I am owed a refund, she agreed. She called the company for me - the same employee responded to her and told her "This is her responsibly not her mothers" Unbelievably disrespectful...
