I find it ridiculous that Panera Bread struggles so much to keep stuff in stock for the day. When I’m going a few times a week, hoping to get the single sandwich I’ve been craving for so long and every single time they’re either out of tomatoes or arugula and it’s still early afternoon. It sucks to know I still have to pay full price for a sandwich with just mozzarella and arugula(that tastes very chemically, they have to drown in it sauce for it to taste good) I haven’t had a decent sandwich from this place in I don’t know how long. Also, however they make their soup, specifically chicken noodle has just been absolutely disgusting, just watered down slop for $10+ in a paper cup that could barely feed a small animal. I have to drive all the way to Appleton just to get a GOOD Panera meal. I don’t know what the difference is between stores but wow, I can’t believe how run down the store in Wausau has become. It’s extremely disappointing since it has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time, but living in Wausau has made me genuinely hate it. I swear the people who work there do the absolute bare minimum, the guy can’t even say a word in the drive thru, no Hi, no Thank you have a good day, he literally opens the drive thru window and waits for you to hand him money and then shoves your change back and gives you your food about 10 minutes later. Everyone I’ve ever gone with to this location has had the same experience. I hope they shut this place down and put in a restaurant where people actually cook the food how it’s supposed to be made, actually have most of the ingredients on hand, and work how employees are supposed to in this type of establishment. I’ve worked in food service for years and still have never had the audacity to act the way Panera and its...
Read moreI ordered lunch for my staff around noon today. By 12:45 it had not arrived, but it showed delivered on the app. I called Panera and was told I had to call Door Dash. I didn't order through Door Dash, I ordered direct through the Panera app. Apparently they do all their deliveries through Door Dash now. So I called Door Dash and they said it had been delivered and I was texted a picture upon delivery. Neither of those things happened. They told me the picture shows the delivery at Cooper Tires. That's not where I ordered from though. So they had the food remade and told me I would have it by 1:38. At approximately 1:55 I called Door Dash again because we still didn't have our food. They told me it was ready to go and they would send a driver to pick it up. I was told an hour earlier that they were already remaking the food while I was one the phone with Door Dash. So by the time that food would have gotten to my staff, it would have been about 1.5 hours old. So I asked them to remake it again and deliver it. They then "couldn't get through" to Panera via phone. At that point, my staff had gone over 6 hours from the last time they ate and they were super hungry. I ended up telling them to refund me and had to leave my business and my customers to go to the grocery store to get food for my staff. I am done ordering from Panera and Door Dash. This was a terrible experience. I hope wherever Cooper Tires is that they enjoyed $120 worth of free...
Read morei don’t even know where to start. i almost never leave reviews but this time i have to. we came through the drive through and was told it would be 15 minutes for our food which was fine because i understand they were busy. finally we get to the window and the cashier told us that our food was on the house because their cash register was malfunctioning, he was extremely nice and he was the only good part about this experience. i gave them the money i would’ve paid for the food as a tip. but then when i opened my sandwich there was a huge chunk of black hair in it, i wish i had a picture of it but it was so disgusting it almost made me puke i couldn’t even look at it. we went back in and kindly asked for it to be remade and explained the situation and then when we said we found a CHUNK OF HAIR in our sandwich some lady from the back comes out and says “no there wasn’t” (it clearly was her hair and she wasn’t wearing a hairnet or hat btw) then continues to be extremely rude. we then got our sandwich remade but it wasn’t even the right sandwich. now we’ve been there for AN HOUR and we were so fed up we just asked for a refund and once again that same lady was EXTREMELY RUDE. i felt bad taking my tip back since the drive through guy was so nice but that was just absolutely disgusting and if you can’t own up to your mistakes and just simply be kind then maybe you shouldn’t have a job in...
