I would like to report the worst experience that I have ever had exchanging a phone, since the beginning of cell phones. I am an over the road trucker, and my phone is the most important tool that I need to do my job. I have 8 days off a month, and I have spent 3 of those days the last 30 days trying to get a broken phone replaced that was broke when I purchased it. I have been an AT&T customer with 3 lines for a month and a half. The first AT&T store in Waxahachie would not take responsibility for the phone. They sent me to the Best Buy store to get my phone fixed or replaced. The first Best Buy store in Waxahachie, Texas, where I live. They didn't service Samsung phones as I was told. The second Best Buy in Grand Praire where the Samsung representative on the phone sent me to, did not have parts for the model of phone that I have. After spending a day driving across town in the Dallas traffic, I was so frustrated that I went home. A few days later, after returning back to the road as an over the road truck driver, I tried again to resolve the problem at a third Best Buy Store in Irving, Texas. The Best Buy store could not help me. I was told by a Samsung representative at the Best Buy store that the AT&T store in Waxahachie could have returned my phone. I went to a second AT&T store in Irving, which went through the motion of filling an insurance claim, but I have not yet received a replacement phone, which was supposed be delivered the next two days. Now, two weeks later, I am still working with this broken phone. Now I am furious. I spend $350.00 to change over to AT&T and have gotten the run around and no service. I still have not exchanged my phone. The phone does not work properly with a headset, and the phone loses connection while talking on it. People can hear me, but I can't hear them at times. I spent my last day off looking for another carrier. I have to wait until I get paid to purchase another phone with a new carrier. I would like to request a full refund of all the money that I spent with AT&T? The employees at both AT&T stores don't seem to care about service. They appear to only want to make a new sale. This is the worst experience that I have had with any cell company . I have 3 lines, and I am lost for answers. I'm tired of going through this nonsense.
July 26th started service Aug 20th filed insurance claim. September 20, no phone,no resolution, and a bunch of condensating conversations from customer service and store employees. They won't give area manager's info to file...
Read moreWe entered the store and employee took the name and said a few minutes. We sat on the bench at the back of the store, gradually noting that people coming in after us were being called and seen and we were still waiting a half hour later. Finally I checked with the woman who checked us in and she said she did not check us in and had been on dinner break. We both had seen her at another table waiting on people the whole time. Again she insisted she was not in the front of the store. Our name was re-entered. Another woman came out from the back, Veronica, and I thought she could help out. She said we would be next and proceeded to the front of the store, and stood in the corner and looked at her phone. After some minutes , I tried to speak with another employee and another customer came over to us and said she thinks her salesman called my friends name. The salesman then said he called a couple times and we didn't answer so he went to someone SITTING NEXT TO US. When I said I was told the lady said noone entered my friends name, he said if I don't get an answer I erase the name in the system. Then another employee jumped in to say he tracked our waiting as 28 min while according to my phone notaton we were over 35. "But we were out of the system." Veronica finally came back and we again tried to say we were getting conflicting stories and the employee who claimed she was on dinner break while we clearly noted she waited on a family and an older women the whole time. My friend was upset noone offered to help us out, that maybe we didn't hear, we are older, but Veronica raised her voice and told my friend not to point at her. My friend was seated and she was standing at least 10 feet away. I said we wanted to buy a phone and she yelled you won't be getting a phone here and you are to leave! So we left..needless to say ATT lost a 20 year customer and I was looking to buy a new phone and check their data plans, since I had recently moved here. Believe me, Xfinity does not treat...
Read moreBeing an AT&T customer off and on for many years, I thought they would remain to be a reputable company. In fact, of the many local offices I have been in, the one located at 1451 Hwy 77, Suite 100, Waxahachie, TX 75165 has been by far the worst experience I have ever had with AT&T. After trying to exchange a phone for a different one due to a manufacturerâs defect I was told to file a claim. When talking to multiple sections of AT&T, I kept being told to return it to the store because I was within my 14-day window, and the store would be able to swap the phone for a better one, and I would have to pay the difference. My daughters went while I was at work and were scoffed at. When I returned to explain this and request that they talk to the main AT&T to figure out where the disconnect might have been, they became unprofessional, insulting, and disrespectful. After an hour and a half of me on the phone with the main company, both AT&T Customer Service and Technical support said they would call to attempt to explain this. They blew them off like Customer Service and Technical Support did not know what they were talking about. I hope the storeâs owner or manager will reevaluate whom they hire. The salespeople were extremely helpful and polite, but the ones who claimed to be managers (Mark and Josh) were not only disrespectful, but they also refused even to consider my case and were extremely lazy by not doing their due diligence talking to the main AT&T, they refused even to let me talk to their supervisor. Customer service is the least of these two that claimed to be managersâ concern. Now I have to pay the price for them selling me a defective product. If you consider going to this store, please consider what AT&T customer service told me, âGo to another AT&T...
