Maurices — Local services in Waxahachie

I was very disappointed with this location today. I went in for the sweater sale and a shirt I saw in their catalog. I was greeted by a very sweet lady, who was working really hard. She went out of her way to find my size in the sweater I wanted and then checked the back for the other one that I was also looking for. While I was trying on what she brought me a manager came in ( or someone in charge) and was very rude to the lady that was helping me. It made everything uncomfortable. When I came out of my stall to take the items that I had tried on that didn't work out to the workers the one worker ( not the lady that was helping me - she was looking for what I came in for in the back.) Completely ignored me... Sorry for not having names....no one is wearing badges. The manager or lady that came in and was being rude to people came and took them from me and very rudely said she would be needing to quarantine what I tried on. Taking the items from me very rudely and coldly. I apologized but was very embarrassed - I wasn't the only shopper in the store. I took my purchases to the front and waited for the original working worker that had helped me to return to check me out and help me order the other shirt if it was possible to do so. ( Since she told me she was looking for it and if they didn't have it she would help me order it.) The worker at the front desk still ignored me. Completely tilting her body to look out the front windows and not even say hello. So the mean manager lady came up again and asked me what I needed. I told her I was waiting for the lady that was helping me. She was checking the back for a shirt for me.... She then yelled for her repeatedly until she ran out and had her check me out. This lady made the process so uncomfortable, I don't think I will be back. I even apologized to the one worker that was working so hard and helping me. I hadn't waited long and screaming for someone like that over and over doesn't make customers want to be their either. This isn't the usual for this location....I'm used to a different store manager. I hope she comes back because this one wasnt good with customer service or with her...

Maurices is my all-time favorite place to shop! Why, you ask? Because they have the cutest, trendy but quality clothing and guess what, it actually fits! They have both Regular and Plus size for women. I will buy my jeans NOWHERE else except Maurices! Whether I'm just browsing for fun, or looking for a particular need, I've NEVER walked out empty handed! I've never encountered anything but fun, helpful staff to set you up in your own fitting room and even help me out with some outfits together. If you ever have any issues or just decide merchandise isn't for you, they have a no qualms policy and the entire staff is so very friendly! To ice the cake, definitely get a credit card because you get significant discounts as well as rewards to stack up with their already daily discounts. New stock comes in daily, I believe so it always seems there are fresh and fun styles available! Love my Maurices! Definitely not a store that will disappoint! Very nice selections as my first time inside a Maurices, but customer service was awful. Being followed around the store by two associates and being asked if everything was alright every 30 seconds and having one personally following you and your sister in law, litterally right up there so we couldn't even converse freely is my big issue.
