First of all I placed an on-line order that was not ready when I got there. I was ok waiting because she said the brisket was almost ready. The girl making the to go orders seemed like she really didn’t want to be there. Soon that same girl handed me a bag and I told her it felt really lite and she replied it’s all in there. I went to my car and opened it to check and all that was in it was a scoop of brisket. I went back in and I told her now I’d like the rest of my bowl. Mind you I had just Apple payed $19 and change for 1 bowl tip included. So now she threw away the brisket and started a new bowl. She put rice and looked down so i proceeded to tell her my ingredients I asked for. So she put black beans and again looked down so I told her brisket, corn salsa and she said I see it. Apparently she doesn’t see well! I let her finished the bowl she handed to me and I went to a table to make sure it was complete this time but again I had to go back. I told her so now maybe you can give me my guac, and she reached for the bag and I told her no just put it in a cup. So now I’m home and it seems that the brisket I payed for went into the trash with the first bowl because all I got in this second bowl was a few dried out crumbs of brisket, about a tablespoons worth. Sorry Chipotle but that was the last time I’ll be visiting this Waxahachie location. After reading other reviews it appears you’ll can’t get good employees for this location. I would have given you’ll 0 stars but it wasn’t an option. I only regret I didn’t take my phone out to...
Read moreI visited this location today. There was a promotion for free chips and guac with any meal, so I thought I check it out. While the employee was wrapping my burrito, another lady (I presume the manager) came up and suggested he use two pieces of foil. Then she looked at me and asked, was this an order from the app? I said yes. She then told him not to use two pieces of foil. She took care of the chips and guac.
The guac was not fresh at all. It was brown and oxidized. She was really stingy with the chips. The bag was 1/4 full or less. The tab was about $8.75. If I didn’t have the promo, it would have been around $13. That’s overpriced in my opinion. If I got a drink, it would have been $15. I presume the promo was designed to generate interest in the restaurant. If they won me over, I would have likely brought my entire family to eat here.
I’m new to the area and I’m trying out all the restaurants. I definitely will not be visiting this restaurant again. I gave this place 2 stars because it was a tremendous volume of food. Regardless, Freebirds is better by a large margin. Also the customer service at freebirds is much better. No dirty looks from the managers means, I’m going back to freebirds.
Update: It’s 4am. The guac made my wife and daughter sick. My wife ate the most and had the most problems. I had some nausea and cramping, but not near as bad as my wife. The kids who didn’t touch the guac slept great and had no problems.
IT WILL BE A FROSTY DAY IN HELL BEFORE I FEED THAT HORSE MANURE TO MY WIFE AND...
Read moreI like Chipotle. I have never had issues with their food. It's this location (Waxahachie) that is a problem. Been disappointed several times with the food quality, but more importantly the staff there is rude and unprofessional. I placed a take-out order and upon pickup, noticed that my kid's quesadilla meal was missing the side (cup of fruit). So I nicely tell the young lady at the front about it, and she says that they're out of fruit. Ok, so I say "well can I have the chips then please?" and she tells me they're out of chips. I then ask if something else can be substituted and she says "we can't do that". So I am trying to get what I PAID FOR, she is not trying to help or resolve the problem, and being quite rude about it. I am all for giving young people a chance to supervise, but if they can't handle it and don't know how to deal with customers, they should just cook in the back. After going back and forth with her, she did finally cave in and gave me a little sauce cup with some black beans in it. Of course my child didn't eat them, but it was the principle at that point. I have never had a bad experience at any Chipotle I've been to, but now have had three at this location (other two previous issues were undercooked food and bad service) Not I, nor my money, will be...
