Starry Eyes Tattoos — Local services in Sioux Falls Township

My healed tattoo from Kat is blown out. Not only that, but I was charged $80 for 1 small finger tattoo (which is light in some spots & blown out in others). I was told beforehand that I could just have it “added in” since I already was getting a bigger tattoo. I’ve gotten my fingers tattooed at others shops & they don’t charge THAT much for it to be done THAT poorly. I was planning on having Kat as the person I go to for future tattoos since I’m new here to Sioux Falls but after seeing how my tattoo healed, I’m not going to bother. You don’t pay for what you get here. Beware!

Edit to response: As someone who has been tattooed (on their fingers) multiple times by multiple people, I have NEVER had one that had blown out the way this one has. There is no way in hell I would ever come back to give someone MORE money to give me another blown out tattoo. It shows a lack of respect when you don’t even acknowledge the part of my review that says “Hey, that big tattoo you’ve given me(not JUST the finger one) is BLOWN OUT.” I only hope that I can warn anybody else about coming here! The damage is done....

I've been to their shop before and I had good interactions the first two times I went. however I just got my third tattoo done by kat and the longer I've had to think about it, the more angry I get by the lack of professionalism this time. I had to reschedule the appointment because she didn't show up. I arrived at the studio but the door was locked and the lights were off. I messaged her asking where she was or if I got the date wrong. absolutely no response for around 4 days. only once I asked for my deposit to be refunded did she reply. I understand that things happen but I'm astounded by the level of unprofessionalism she showed. at the very least I asked for a discount and she refused. if i hadn't shown up for my appointment then it would have looked bad on me and i would have lost my deposit. it most definitely goes both ways, this is a horrible look for a business.
