Riddle's Jewelry - Sioux Falls Empire Mall — Local services in Wayne Township

I'm only giving this place a 1 star rating due to the customer service if you can even call it that. I had gone in there quick to have my ring cleaned. I walked in and the gal was helping another customer so I just browsed. I was there probably 5 minutes and still no acknowledgement. she had acknowledged the other gentleman in the store who then told her he was the woman's husband. a couple more minutes go by and she had walked to the register quick and I politely said 'excuse me I was just wondering if you guys do ring cleaning here?' to which I received in a very snarky manner 'uh yeah if you bought it here' and I told her yes it was purchased at this store. she then in the same snarky manner stated 'k well you'll have to wait you could just go to the store across the street they have more people and can help you sooner.' I said no problem I'm in no rush i was going to do a little shopping in the mall. she finished helping the lady and then comes back over to the register to get my info she told me to give her about 15 minutes and I again told her no worries we will be in the mall for about another half hour. I left my ring and returned 45 minutes later when she saw me walk in I was not greeted or even acknowledged she turned her back to where the cleaning machine is I'm assuming and you could hear the machine for less than thirty seconds then she comes back out with my ring I said thank you and I was leaving I looked at my ring and saw how it really didn't look any cleaner or any different than when I had dropped it off. definitely felt as though I was treated this way because I came in wearing sweats and a sweatshirt. I'm not sure if she just assumed I couldn't possibly afford anything in that store or what. but definitely...

My boyfriend has been getting me a necklace for 3 years from riddles for our anniversary. In the past they always worked with me and exchanged part of the necklace. Today at the empire mall I came in to exchange the chain on my necklace because it broke. The manager there was very rude and was trying to up sale me a different necklace. She was disrespectful and yelling at me. Then she waived me off to Andrew who was also rude and assumed I’m from a different country and was trying to teach me about “what the customers in my country do”. The whole situation was uncalled for. Andrew refused to give me the name of the lady I was talking to. Then I overheard her bad mouthing me behind the counter and she was very aggressive.😔 Customer service was absolutely horrible even she didn’t let me talk arguing with me and doesn’t listen what I come from I have my friend with me and she told her can we talk. The manager at Riddles, at the Sioux falls mall location, was insanely rude to me. Ive been going there for years but after dropping my ring off this last time I will never go back. This was my second encounter with her, and I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time but after the second time she was even worse. She pretty much accused me of making the tiny diamonds fall out of my ring. Do you think I don’t like wearing my wedding ring for weeks at a time? She made a huge deal about the paperwork, which I had left in my car and offered to run and get it, but she kept lecturing me, in front of my daughter. My daughter asked me when we left why she did that. I was in shock. I will never go back there. I will never recommend that location to anyone ever because of the poor management. Thankfully she wasn’t there when I went to pick it up two weeks later because I wasn't going to let her talk to me like that ever again.
