I have been here multiple times & usually don't have an issue. Most of the staff is friendly & professional. The two times I have had an issue it's been similar problems. First, the wait times have been getting longer & longer, probably due to over booking. It's clear they don't value your time, comfort & it's painful sitting in a waiting room chair, wheelchair or the bed for hours. Also, have y'all noticed that there are a high amount of positive reviews vs negative reviews? That is suspicious to me. My issue: After my procedure I woke up in severe pain. My recovery room nurse, Stacey, was rude, short & had a bad attitude. Very poor patient care. She has no business being a nurse that deals with patients. Apparently, she said I was misbehaving. I wouldn't keep the Ice pack on my neck & I was squirming around. That's because I was in terrible pain. Patients often display combative behavior, altered mental status, do or say off the wall things or have pain issues when waking up from anesthesia. A competent recovery room nurse should recognize that and take the appropriate actions . At some point I was given Tylenol & a muscle relaxer that provided no relief. I don't believe nurse Stacy was accurately communicated my condition fully to my doctor because he wouldn't have discharged me in such a condition. No doctor should. Shortly after that, two young men came into my bay, forcibly dressed me then I was forced into my wheelchair & rolled out of the door to the pick-up area. I was treated very roughly & thrown around like a sack of potatoes. It was more like I was being thrown out than discharged. My dad voiced concern over my condition to nurse Stacy. She said the doctor said I had medicine I could take at home for pain. I couldn't sit up properly in the truck chair but, nurse Stacy & her two goons didn't seem to give a sh*t. It seems they want you out ASAP, whether you're ready or not. I know this sounds preposterous & you may be thinking "there is no way" but, I promise you it's the truth. How many other patients have been treated like this and not said anything or were believed? I never plan to come here for anything...
Read moreWithout any hesitation, the very BEST hospital in the Clear Lake/Webster/League City area! Others can’t even come close to reaching this level of top-notch care. Every person I interacted with treated me with the utmost respect and made me feel like they genuinely cared about me. After surgery to repair my ruptured Achilles, my recovery nurse Edoo (spelling?) was off the charts in the way he spoke softly to me and took care of me as I was waking from anesthesia. Even Ethan, the young man who drove my wheelchair out to the car, was kind and gentle and made me feel like I was his own beloved mother. The surgery staff, including the anesthesiologist and head nurse, introduced themselves in pre-op and everyone answered every question I had. My surgeon allowed me to pray for him and the team while my husband was with us, mere moments before I was wheeled to the OR. I can’t imagine ever using any other hospital for surgery. These guys know how to do it RIGHT! From pre-op testing weeks before, to handling financials, to phone calls making sure the patient feels confident and comfortable, to checking vitals/setting up IV, all through surgery, providing one of the cleanest places on earth, to never taking eyes off patient in recovery, and helping patient safely into vehicle to go home, this place blows everyone else out of the water! Oh and I must mention the phone calls 2 days after surgery from a nurse checking on you! I had some questions, and she knew exactly how to help me; she was so kind on the phone and offered to be there for me if I had anything else come up. I HIGHLY recommend this hospital! Can’t imagine...
Read moreMy son recently had his tonsils removed at Houston Physician’s Hospital, and I can’t speak highly enough about the experience. From the moment we arrived, the care and professionalism exceeded all expectations.
Dr. Caroline Yoon, who performed the surgery, was truly exceptional. Her expertise and reassuring presence made a potentially stressful situation much easier for our family. Her entire surgical team was equally impressive—efficient, compassionate, and highly skilled.
A special thank you to Kathryn, our nurse, whose kindness and attentiveness made a huge difference during our stay. The anesthesia team, including John, also provided outstanding care and took the time to ensure everything went smoothly and comfortably for my son.
The hospital itself was immaculately clean and beautifully maintained—hospitalization felt more like staying in a private, luxury setting. What really stood out was how well we were kept informed throughout the process. We received text message updates during the procedure, which offered real peace of mind.
Recovery was smooth and incredibly accommodating thanks to the thoughtful support of the staff.
Thank you to everyone at Houston Physician’s Hospital for making this experience as comforting and positive as possible. We are...
