When we walked up to the cash register to pay for the two ornaments we picked out, the employee asked me if the ornaments we had selected were July or October ornaments. I told her I had no idea. Where would I even find this information? We just picked out the ornaments that were stocked on the shelf.
Turns out ALL of the October ornaments that aren't debuting for 2 more days are stocked on the shelf.
So she could sell me one ornament, but not the other. What? Why on Earth would you stock the ornament area with all the ornaments that you can't sell yet? Put up the display to show them off, yes, awesome! BUT stock the shelf?! No! Why would you do that?
As I was walking out after buying nothing a second employee said, "we have signs up!". No. You have signs up stating that the debut is on October 5th. You DON'T have signs up stating which ornaments are part of the October debut. There's a difference. I, the customer, shouldn't have to guess which ornaments I can actually purchase when I walk in the store. The ones that haven't debuted yet, shouldn't have been stocked on the shelves.
