This review is long overdue, but I'll make it as short as possible.

I began my relationship with Kim and her family at Unique by shopping for a ring online. Found that I could design a ring on their website, and after MANY back and forth emails with Kim, I finally settled on a design within my price range. This also took place before, during and after the COVID-related business shutdown that took place earlier this year. In spite of this, Kim maintained positive communications with me, in what must have been a very stressful time for local business owners.

Fast forward to now. I have since purchased the aforementioned ring and a second one for my wife, a new ring for myself, and a bracelet for my mother. The selections available are broad, which is a plus of course, but the real reason I kept going back in simply CUSTOMER SERVICE. This place oozes superior customer service. The kind of service you think about well after the transaction has completed.

As a quality management professional I am constantly evaluating how businesses treat customers. It's easy to run ads indicating you treat customers well, or to use taglines such as "quality service!" in public communications and signage, but it's quite another to literally insert a WOW factor into most business transactions. Kim and her family listen to you, patiently, and provide guidance during your purchase to the level you need/want. No pushiness, no gimmicks, no fluff. Just simple, honest, look-you-in-the-eye quality service. And that's why I went back, and will keep going...

I feel so fortunate as to have found this gem of a jewelry store in my community! I was looking for someone to size up a couple of wedding bands that go around my main band - after reading the reviews on yelp and google - I am so glad that I chose Unique Jewels! They sized my bands at a reasonable price and in a very timely manner. While I was looking around the store, I mentioned to Donna that my main wedding ring could use an update. My larger diamond was an inherited solitaire and I did not want to trade it in to get a larger one or anything like that. She suggested adding a halo of diamonds around the main stone to enhance the setting. When I went to pick up my bands - I told them I was intrigued by the idea of the halo - Kim the jeweler came out personally and showed me the options and with their help I chose a square halo to go around my round diamond. The price was very reasonable and was done in one day once the halo came in - they are sympathetic that you don't want to be without your wedding ring for an extended period of time :). I picked it up today and OMG - words cannot describe how beautiful it turned out. It was beautiful before but now it is WOW !! Thank you so much Donna and Kim !! I lost my husband a little over a year ago, I was devastated and shocked. I changed jobs, I moved and I started the healing process. My husband helped me with the process by sending me down a path of what he wanted done with his ashes. One of his wishes was to have his ashes turned into a diamond I could wear around my neck so he would always be close to my heart. During the time it took to turn his ashes into a diamond (he's the brilliant round diamond at the top of the pendant), I resized his ring and my wedding band to wear on my right hand. I also removed the center stone to my engagement ring (the pear in the center of the pendant) and redesigned the ring to wear on a daily basis. Once I received his diamond back, I went to Unique Jewels and they took my pencil drawing and turned it into this beautiful pendant. I knew I could trust them and that they did good work because they were also the ones I chose to help with my rings. The world is a very dark place the first year after losing a spouse, but the kind family atmosphere at Unique Jewels helped to enlighten my path on my journey to healing.
