It's been a little bit over 5 months since I have done this review but when I did I did not realize that when I was getting this phone that I would be stuck paying this phone off until the 36 month period has expired that being said I'm not too happy with what I heard from the other Verizon store because according to them you would have to pay off the remaining balance and then some which is a confusing thing for me to understand because I'm slow the phone itself is amazing it's great I do recommend it for all Samsung users because this phone is probably about 2 or 3 times louder on speaker than an iPhone is and the backlight on this device is awesome it acts like a flashlight it is that bright and then to top it off you have your clear as Crystal phone calls you make a phone call and it is clear you can hear the other person just fine no static no can you hear me now nothing like that and quite honestly I have not once yet had a call drop with this device the only thing I'm not happy with and that deserves a decrease in the star rating is that the information that we were givenwas a bit inaccurate I was looking forward to being able to take the money that I owed left on this phone and pay it off but since I was told that I would have to pay that on top of what the promotion is that's keeping the phones as cheap as they are I don't have that kind of money because I would be paying $300 plus like 800 so I'd be basically paying for the full actual phone so in my mind this phone is yes indeed worth it because of the durability because it is made with titanium however I traded in my iPhone 12 pro Max and got the trade-in deal but that basically means nothing according to the other store I'm not too happy that I heard that and one more thing I have been hearing some bad things about the Verizon store on Paradise drive so when you go to that location and try to buy a phone just be mindful of what you're buying and what kind of deals they are offering you because I don't know what to believe...
Read moreTwo employees at this place (the manager and one employee) deliberately lied to me and scammed me. My disabled brother had dropped his flip phone. It got run over by a car. Went to this store to get him a replacement. I was specifically told that I was paying for the old style flip phone when I ordered it. I "paid" for the phone, only to find out on my next bill that the phone had been put on a 36 month payment plan.
When I went to pick up the phone, I asked what had happened - and what I had paid for the week before. Employee said it was for some sort of protection plan. I advised I had not agreed to purchase any plan - nor was any plan discussed. I advised that, whatever this plan was, it needed to be canceled. Employee immediately advised that this was not a problem, that he would cancel "it."
Six weeks later, Verizon corporate supervisor has no idea what this plan was. Nothing on record. No refund from Wireless Zone on my credit card.
Buyer beware. This place is looking to deliberately scam those of us who are technology challenged.
On the plus side, corporate Verizon was helpful when I called to inquire and report what had happened. Kudos to Verizon. Shame on...
Read moreI transferred to Verizon from another provider when I picked up my 4 new iphones the manager did the data transfer. I believed it was just good customer service since this has been done every cellphone store I have ever gone to. When the transfer was done, the bill was explained they called it a "transfer fee" (it was $45 for each line). I thought this was to active each line on the new network which was explained. Now I discovered this was for him clicking a few buttons on the iphone to start the data transfer. It took all of 2 mins to do the data transfer for $45 something I could easily do myself and would have been happy to do in order to save myself saving $180. When I discovered the charge was for the data transfer not service transfer, I contacted the store and asked for a refund. I was told I had to return the phones and pay a $55 restocking fee and I would still be at a loss of $10 if I wanted the refund. The manager claimed the charge was explained to me but I know if they would have said $45 to do 2 min of work I can do myself I would have remembered, but then the manger hung up on me. I would go to a different store to set up service you wont know what your...
