I am so fed up with the pathetically poor quality service at fast food restaurants; and Qdoba in West Bend is no exception! Once again, our takeout order was wrong! There was a missing ordered item, as well as, an item with the wrong fillings in it!
My grandson ordered a plain cheese quesodea. My husband had to tell the employee half dozen times to put only cheese on it! Yet she still went ahead and put onions on; which my husband had her take off! But, he became distracted and did not see this same employee put tomatoes on it as well! This mistake was not discovered until he got home! What did she NOT understand about "cheese" only! How difficult is it to JUST put cheese on a tortilla shell! To give her the benefit of the doubt, however, I checked the receipt to see if she misheard him. Or some other explanation would be apparent. But, no, it was rung up as a cheese queso! On top of that, we did not receive an order of rice my grandson asked for!
While I was not interested in ordering from Qdoba, it was what my grandson wanted, so I acquiesced! I regret that decision! As it turned out, the 2 items I previously mentioned were the only 2 items my grandson ordered! So, guess who ended up making dinner for him at home... a cheese quesodea and some rice....ME! It wasn't difficult!...hint, hint! But, it also was not what I had planned for my evening! Hence, ordering out!
I am more than disappointed with how the order ended up! But, also disappointing was the food itself! My husband said his steak was dry and had an unpleasant flavor. He actually stopped eating his. And, he very rarely does that! Also, my chicken was so dry/overcooked in spots I could not chew it! Disappointing!
To be fair, and thus the 1 star, the portion size of my quesodea was ample, as were its fillings. Also, the guacamole was very good! This does not, however, begin to offset the mistakes with our order! Nor, the fact that my husband paid for the item we did not receive! Apparently, they are now charging "extra" for really bad service! Hah!

Read moreThis particular location has been going down hill lately, food is chain food pretty good but the employees almost make you feel bad for being a customer. This shift 3 people at the line, the taller light blonde hair guy with glasses rolled his eyes when I walked in, no greetings for coming in only stares. Then was rushing through the bowls I had two bowls, he was assuming what I wanted ended up giving me the wrong queso before I could say Diablo he poured the regular one on it (not a huge deal just the rushing with attitude was off putting) I told we wanted diablo and he just threw the diablo on top didn’t offer to start over, gave a half scoop of chicken because they were almost out of chicken. I had to let him know before he pushed the bowls to the other guy I wanted fajita veggies, then the next guy zero words no acknowledgment I just told him what I wanted he did it without looking at me. The girl at the cash register was at least nice (brown hair), I feel bad for her she seemed stressed. That shift was at 12:35pm on 7/12/25. The place wasn’t packed or anything either, so I’m not sure what the issue was. But I’ve been here with zero other customers in the last few months and have gotten the stare and zero words while taking my order. Not sure what the deal is but they need some customer...
Read moreI should've taken photos. ..it was disgusting. The food station area had caked on bean drippings all over and the rice, beans and corn were all over the area and mixed into the containers. In all the years I've been there I've never seen it so disgusting! Tons of flies were flying around and landing on the food as well. It was super dead as only one other couple was sitting in the dining room so that could not have been the reason. We went on 7/16 at 3pmish and wasn't greeted either by anyone...we took one look at the station and turned and walked out. My mom said she started gagging after looking at how bad it looked. It's just so sad people don't want to work with standards anymore. How hard is it to wipe up the area when your not busy and they weren't as they were standing around chit chatting. Not good business when Chipotle across the street will be opening up soon. Guess I will give them a shot next...
