I'm going to be 100% honest , I don't sugar coat things, honestly, I grew up in the neighborhood ate their food many times, but honestly, looks like some of these employees or even maybe all of them dont seem to even care. Not 1 time, not 2 times, like 5 or 6 times when I would order the chicken plate or even the meat plate, they would put the food in the Styrofoam containers, the chicken and meat would burn and melt the Styrofoam. These employees dont really care if your food melts the Styrofoam and you end up eating it honestly. That's really messed up because the Styrofoam that melted onto the food can make you really sick with the time. Sometimes, the chicken and meat had a bad flavor and smelled like if the meat was like sour or old. It tasted bad. Also, sometimes the beans had a really bad smell like If the beans were expired or old, but they smell very strong and bad. I wonder if these people are giving us old expired beans and old meats?? Also, these cooks don't even know how to season the food properly. Many times, they put like a ton of salt for a carne plate or even a chicken plate. Even the beans had so much salt. A couple of times when the chicken or meat was overseasoned by salt that i tried to rinse off the salt. Other times, i just ate a little bit and threw out the rest of the salty chicken and meat. If your cooks don't know how to properly season the food without overseasoning it, then its time to replace those cooks with other cooks that would do their job right and not put tons of salt on the food. Many times, I also would only get like 2 very thin pieces of chicken breast and even on the meat plate. Also when you order a chicken or meat burrito they rip you off and put less meat like only 1 piece of chicken or meat in those burritos and like tons of lettuce to make it look like they put a good amount of meat in there but its mostly lettuce, tomatoes, rice and beans, sour cream that has the most. They charge a good amount of money for these plates and rip people off and don't put enough meat in there. You people are charging a good amount of money for a plate of chicken and meat. The customers are willing to pay the money you guys are charging, but you people end up ripping people off. Be honest with your customers because they are the ones bringing you guys money. If not, you guys are going to keep losing customers.

If you're new here, I suggest taking a moment to read over the menu. It was my 1st time here, and the language barrier was an issue while ordering. I'm almost sure most of the staff only speak Spanish and can understand and speak bits of English. Understandable. Have some patience, and try reading over the menu prior so that you know exactly what to order. I ordered 4 steak and 4 chicken tacos. The tacos come with rice, refried beans, and cabbage salad. Cabbage salad was a 1st for me. I didn't care for it on my tacos. It's raw cabbage. That's it. I asked for onion and cilantro. They don't have it. The steak tacos were šŸ”„ šŸ”„. I got them without the cabbage. The flavor of the steak was good. The char was amazing. I also like that they serve the steak whole and not chopped up. The chicken Taco was just okay. More seasoning was needed, and it was a little dry. This is also served whole and not chopped. Also, sour cream is 1.50 extra. That's crazy. I spent $42.56 on 8 tacos with no extras added. No cheese. No sour cream. At almost $5 per taco, that's steep. I'd say the steak is worth a try. 3.5 stars

Taqueria El Milagro holds a special place in my heart as a longtime resident of the area. Over 30 years, I've witnessed numerous changes, but this gem remains a consistent favorite. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and whether dining in or taking out, it never disappoints. Despite the price increase, it's still one of the best spots for a flavorful steak meal at a reasonable cost, making it a must-visit even after moving to the suburbs seven years ago. Absolutely worth the return visits. My ultimate favorite is the steak platter and the chicharrón en salsa verde. Meanwhile, my daughter loves the fideo and the tacos de nopales during Lent season. Apologies for the less-than-perfect picture – my hunger got the best of me, and I couldn't wait! Here's a glimpse of my meal halfway through. The flavors were still on point. šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹

Their carne Asada tacos are wonderful. Big slices of tender grilled steak in a warm corn tortilla with beans and rice underneath and shredded cabbage on top. Served with a side of Pico de Gallo. Well worth the price. Their tacos are packed to overflowing with filling. Their chiles rellenos are also excellent ( but they leave the seeds in), and all of their guisados are equally tasty, but some are spicy. My favorite is the mole tacos. No, they're not dainty shredded chicken or a chicken breast filet. It's a whole piece of succulent chicken (leg or thigh) drenched in mole. Yes, it's a little messy. But it's finger licking good! You get to enjoy sucking that mole soaked meat right off the bone. Mmmm! All their tacos come with beans and rice inside and shredded cabbage on top (with a side of Pico). They are all well worth the price and will fill you up. I think that their champurrado is the best in town. It's creamy, not watery. And the champurrado is sweet but not too sweet. Their Aguas, however, are not natural. They are made from a mix and usually very sweet. You can choose to eat everything in platillo (dinner) instead of taco. Servings are generous. Be prepared for a line. Worth the price and...
