"I have had two pedicures at this spa that were absolutely wonderful. The technicians not only provided excellent service but were also very pleasant, clearly showing their expertise and dedication to their craft. Unfortunately, my overall experience has been marred by significant issues with the management and their approach to customer service.
This morning marked the third time my appointment was canceled at the last minute—within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, despite having booked it more than two weeks in advance, completed all necessary paperwork, and confirmed the appointment beforehand. The first two cancellations occurred while I was already en route in a rideshare, and today, I arrived 10 minutes early only to find out that the technician was unavailable. Adding to the frustration, I was asked if this was my first visit, which suggests a lack of attention to my customer history. Would it really take the sting of being told that an appointment was canceled if it were my first visit?
Although the management offered a complimentary visit next time and mentioned other available services, these gestures do not fully compensate for the recurring inconvenience and poor handling of scheduling. This particular visit was a special treat for myself as away of celebrating a successful Spring quarter since I am a graduate school student.
In conclusion, while the quality of the actual pedicures is commendable, the management's repeated last-minute cancellations and overall lack of organization have significantly impacted my satisfaction. I am hesitant to return, even with the offer of a complimentary service, unless there are clear improvements in how appointments are managed. When I mentioned it at checkout, they converted my gift card for 90 min into cash and said that I had only $5 left, because within the year, their prices increased. She painted my nails with a cheap nail polish and did not use a base, and now a week after I have removed the color, my nail plate is still stained with a cherry color and acetone does not take it off. Read moreI spent $272 (with tip) to get a no-chip mani and regular pedicure prior to vacation. I went on Sunday afternoon and my treatment was completed by 4 pm ish. My Tuesday two nails had chipped. I was gutted and leaving Wednesday morning. By the time I got to the airport at 6 am on Wednesday, 4 nails were chipped. In what world does a $150 ish no chip manicure last 48 hours?! I tried contacting them several times. They finally replied after three follow ups with a very casual response about a discount on a future service. Why on earth would I do that? I'll never trust that my nails won't chip again. After I pressed further, they ghosted me. I'm super lucky I have time/money to spend on a nice treatment like this. In this economy, service with prices that high should be white glove instead it's giving I can't believe you are bothering us for not giving good service. Take your business to a local salon instead.
