Hello friends and potential clients of this law firm. I have a real life story to share with you, one complete with factual data to validate exactly what I have endured at the hands of police misconduct. Approximately three weeks ago, I sent a online form to Loevy and Loevy outlining the details of the police misconduct that the Michigan City, IN police department subjected me to. Oddly, when I called yesterday, 02/16/2021, my response was that Lovey and Lovey did not handle the type of case that I described in the online form which I submitted to Lovey and Lovey. Now, their facebook page clearly states. "We seek justice for those whose civil rights have been violated and for whistleblowers". There was no fine print that stated with the exception of Mr. Richard Cope". Nevertheless, based upon the brief conversation I had the with person who answered the phone, it was clear that Loevy and Loevy certainly care about my civil rights or any other rights of mine that have been blatantly violated by the Michigan City, IN police department. Their facebook page also sports a story regarding NYPD corruption, and how nine individuals had been framed by the police and wrongfully convicted. Maybe I am missing something here. The actions of the Michigan City police department is the same type of misconduct outlined in the story on Loevy and Loevy's facebook page, fabricating evidence against me, which deprived me of 10 months of liberty. Based upon false evidence which the MCPD knew to be false at the time of the alleged incident. An MCPD detective falsely stated under the penalty of perjury that the Michigan City, IN Meijer store was not equipped with video surveillance cameras capable of recording activity outside the store. Photo evidence of the Michigan City, IN Meijer store clearly shows that there are video surveillance cameras positioned on either side of the north side entrance/exit. This same detective further stated that there was no video footage available showing the suspect exit the store, yet a Ms. Kelli Mink, a legal assistant with the Meijer legal department in Grand Rapids, has confirmed that Meijer is in possession of the video footage that the MCPD detective claimed did not exist.
The evidence which I can present clearly shows police misconduct, even my retained counsel, Mr. Ryan Beall has told me that the actions of the MCPD has violated my constitutional rights. No civilized society should have to endure the misconduct of it's police officers. This type of conduct cannot be excused on any level. Injustice is injustice. If you agree with me that the police should be held to a higher level of accountability than an average citizen, then I applaud your rational thinking, yet my efforts at communicating these civil rights to Lovey and Lovey was met with outright misinformation and subterfuge. Searching for an attorney or firm to aggressively fight for your rights can be an arduous task, as your attorney is supposed to be your champion in the legal arena. Sadly, my experience with Loevy and Loevy indicated that they simply do not feel that I am important as a person, and that my civil rights are nothing more than an illusion. While Loevy and Loevy claim to be among the largest and most successful civil rights firm in the US, one can only base an opinion on personal experience. If you're currently searching for a civil rights attorney or firm, use caution when making that selection, and because I was lied to by staff at Loevy and Loevy, I can not in good conscience recommend them to anyone else seeking legal representation. Read moreFirst and foremost to those included in the curfew class action like myself... ALL SETTLEMENTS TAKE YEARS TO FINISH AND PAY OUT... ITS NOT JUST THIS FIRM BEING SLOW ... before you go complaining and showing your ignorance.. GOOGLE OTHER SETTLEMENTS AND LEARN HOW IT WORKS BEFORE BAD MOUTHING A PRACTICE THATS TAKES YEARS OF HARD WORK AND SCHOOL TO EVEN GET THEIR FOOT IN THE DOOR SMFH... And It's clear to see that alot of you did NOT read the website that they created specifically for our class action lawsuit. Got one guy up there crying about being locked up for the curfew for 12 days... First of all bud... If you were in there for more than. 5 days before being released like the rest of us 300 from those days... then that means you had a separate charge than just the curfew which would be YOUR FAULT.. secondly.. I was lit up with the rubber bullets and pepper balls a little more than most. None of us 300 from those couple days got really messed up besides those couple that had separate cases from ours. It is NOT this lawfirms responsibility to find out what happened to you unless you personally found them and hired them yourself. You literally found out about it scrolling the internet or by a friend and ignorantly started screaming like a child out of pure GREED because you saw you werent getting millions... Here's a wild fact for ya... Every class action suit awards the lawfirms the same amount as the 33% that Loevy and Loevy got... It's 1/3. It's not a percentage that they set themselves. Just those couple ignorant outbursts alone make you seem like such a greedy jackass that I wouldn't blame them if they just completely ignore you. If you were in for more than 3 days, like I was, then you are in the highest tier for amount you can receive. So making up that story was completely pointless... These people literally did this on their own and got you hooked up with a free $17,000 like I just got the other day. They have trouble communicating because it's only a COUPLE of employees dealing with THREE HUNDRED VICTIMS... WHILE constantly being in court dealing with the same tedious case for the last 3 years.. and you you had to do is BE PATIENT AND GET PAID THOUSANDS FOR DOING...
Read moreDo not do business with Loevy And Loevy. I was given Loevy And Loevy as a referral from a city council member because I was wrongfully targeted for a crime I did not commit by the a police department. When I attempted to call Loevy And Loevy, I got voicemails prompting me to leave a message. Not only did I leave one message with no call back, I made precisely 3 messages with no call back. Right after, I found a way to get a hold of the receptionist. I told the receptionist I was disappointed that I was being ignored. I told that receptionist if I can't be taken seriously getting call backs, then that was a sign of things to come if we ever did business. Additionally, I mentioned I would write negative reviews as a result. That receptionist called it a threat. That's not a criminal threat. I have a right to write reviews if I want to. Maybe if your company would call me back when I have a legitimate case, then I wouldn't write a review about my experience. Maybe you might have a different outcome, but in my personal opinion, do not do business with...
