Trike in Logan Square is an absolute gem for Thai cuisine lovers. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively, setting the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable dining experience.
The Khao Suey was an absolute standout—rich, comforting, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight, with the coconut base carrying just the right hint of spice. The veg Penang Curry was equally impressive, boasting a deep, velvety texture and a perfectly balanced mix of sweet and savory. It’s rare to find dishes that feel both indulgent and homely, but Trike absolutely nails it.
The hospitality, however, is what truly made the night special. The owner was incredibly gracious and engaged, taking the time to check in on us and ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect. His genuine enthusiasm for making guests feel welcomed was a refreshing touch. The complimentary spring rolls were another unexpected joy—their crispness matched with an outstanding dipping sauce made for a fantastic surprise.
What left a lasting impression was the owner’s kindness—seeing that my mother was fasting, he thoughtfully packed a portion of the spring rolls so she could enjoy them later. It’s gestures like these that set Trike apart—not just as a restaurant but as a place that genuinely cares about its guests.
Trike isn’t just about incredible food; it’s about an experience that makes you feel valued. Whether you're a Thai food enthusiast or simply looking for an exceptional meal served with heart, this is a spot you’ll want to return to again and again.

Read moreSimply phenomenal. Whether you get noodles or a soup dish, the amount of flavor these dishes pack is simply astonishing. From the delicately devious Noodle Curry with Chicken to their unique spin on a classic Pho that ups the ante creatively to a slightly sweet yet savory concoction of pure delicious joy-- a perfectly balanced contrast of various meats, veggies and rice noodles... you can't go wrong here.
I don't say this lightly, but Furious Spoon, Ramen San, and even some of the best Pho places in uptown such as Tank Noodle will honestly struggle to keep up with the level of culinary depth and creativity that little old three wheels noodles provides. The hybrid fusion of multiple Asian cultures really shines in each dish, the broths hold no bars, taking the best from each tradition while still yielding something new that makes your jaw drop to savor that flavor of creative delight and asking, why didn't someone think of combining this with that before!??
Service is attentive and helpful, pricing is very reasonable, and it's BYOB with a small corkage fee...what else...
Read moreIt seems like a little hole in the wall; so much so that you could walk by and you wouldn't even see it if you weren't looking for it. The food here is amazing! The portions are more than reasonable for the price, the service is great, and the flavor is outstanding!
We ordered Edamame, Tofu Tom Yum, Trike Wings, Summer Roll, and Veggie Chow Fun.
The edamame was steamed perfectly, and the order was so large that we're taking 2/3 of it to-go for snacks tomorrow.
I ordered the Tom Yum Thai Hot and was not disappointed; a lot of times, at other places, it's not spicy enough because they think this little white girl can't handle the heat LOL. This Tom Yum was deliciously spicy!
I don't know how they're making the batter for their wings, but they're addictive!
When the Summer Roll came out, we were mostly expecting it to taste like salad. If that's salad, it's the most exciting salad I've had in months! THERE WAS SO MUCH FLAVOR!!!
The Veggie Chow Fun is PURE COMFORT FOOD. We're having to take most of it to-go because the portions are that generous.
Would 10/10...
